Could you clarify the protocol for posting reviews? I sent my review to the author for his comment before I posted it (He didn't reply, but that's OK; maybe he agreed with everything I said.)

I have posted the review - just checking the community viewpoint on whether getting author feedback on the pre-posted review is considered expected behavior.

You can send it to the author prior to posting, but it's not necessary (unless it's an overly negative review with not much good to say). Either way is fine by me. :)
