Like you Trisha I thought this book was a little long. The good news is that book 2 is 100 pages shorter.

I just finished this book. I liked Haden's chapters/story better than Daphne's. Her story got more interesting about halfway through the book. I liked the ending, and I'm curious about where she will go with this series.
