Yegor (yegorich) | 7 comments If someone can Italian/German here you'll find some basic info https://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claudio.... At least foto can be taken.

Strange, that his books seem to be translated only in German ...

Thanks.

Susie (dragonsusie) | 2469 comments It's OK - I just took the information from the first couple of lines, as there only appears to be general info there, anyway, and have added the author photo, as well as genres (only the first book appears to have genre information on it - is that correct, or would you add others?).

Yegor (yegorich) | 7 comments So far I've read only his crime books, but he seems to write also satirical books. Like this one: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/5...

Photo removed. Goodreads is not set up to display Creative Commons attributions as is required to comply with the requirements for using CC-licensed images.

Photos can only be added here if they are public domain or with full redistribution permissions from the copyright holder.

Ah, right, OK - that's something new by me, as I didn't realise it excluded CC-licenced images (have seen people using author photos from Wikipedia before).

Having only ever added a couple of author photos previously, it's not something that we come across often. Might be worth adding a note along with the other information to say that Wikipedia and other CC-licenced images are excluded.

Krazykiwi | 1767 comments Susie, many wikipedia images aren't actually CC licensed. Quite a lot are released to the public domain, either by virtue of original source (for instance, many images produced by the US Government are in fact immediately in the public domain--but not all of them), age (copyright has expired) or explicit release by the image taker (most often for fairly recent candid shots.)

You have to check each picture directly, there's no way to tell based on quality, recency, or anything else. For instance this picture of Neil Gaiman is PD:

But this one isn't:
