My new favourite book- Elysian Wonderland by Stuart Ayris

This is a brilliant book. It has some amazing and vivid surreal moments alongside a credible and recognisable story. It is such a journey to go on, I cannot recommend it strongly enough.
The story covers the fortunes of a married couple who are trying to patch up a stale marriage and one way they do this is a trip to VW Camper van festival. When everyone disappears the next day, they embark on some incredible and amazing adventures that have to be read to be experienced and enjoyed.
Stuart writes in a free and eclectic style, drawing on cultural references and pop lyrics.
Leave aside your expectations, settle down and enjoy the ride!
