So What Did You Think?

I have to say the first half of the bit was ill-paced for me, and lackluster. But the second half was on point, focused and amazing. Also, I am praying this is only going to be a duology. I'm sick of trilogies.
But what did you think of the relationship between Shahrzad and Khalid?
What of Shahrzad's father? Do you think he is some sort of magus? Like the mysterious one that visited her while Khalid was away?
Also - how much more of Shahrzad's power do you think we will see in the next installment?

i had high hopes for this one, but i think the whole insta-love kinda killed it for me and the MCs are annoying in a way. Its got redeeming qualities though so i'm hoping the next one would deliver.

I sort of felt this way too. Their love-bond that ends up forming wasn't wholly believable for me. So it was difficult for me to understand where the MC was coming from. However I would say that the storyline about half way through to the end was pretty good. By the end of it I wished we already had the next installment.
Can I also point out how glad I am this is only going to be duology instead of a trilogy?
