This is a older book, I think the 70s?

It was written from the view of a teacher at a school for pregnant teens. One of the teens was a 13 year old and I think her name was Baby. She liked pickles and in one scene, she ate a whole jar, got really bloated, and locked herself in her room. There was another girl whose parents forced her to have electroshock therapy and it made her forget French. Another girl, the staff assumed her mom's boyfriend was the father of her baby cause they were close and he wanted her and the baby to come stay with him even though him and her mother were not together anymore but it turns out he wasn't the father. She only let her mom think that to mess with her head because the mom was mean to the boyfriend. She had a finger tattoo with the initial of the baby's father, but they weren't together anymore and she said she wasn't going to let him around the baby.

The cover showed a pregnant girl wearing a dress (I think) and knee socks.
