I'm going to go get something to eat, and then start reading this one. Are we sticking to a reading schedule? Maybe about 25% a day? Or more?

I started it last night, found it so hard to put down. It's been a while since a book made me laugh that much, and the banter!!! LOVELOVELOVE the banter!! They give good banter :-)
Chapter 14 is fantastic, my face hurts from laughing

Ah! I'm just getting ready to start Chapter 12, so almost at 50%. I would have gotten further, but thankfully my BFF called last night and talked for over an hour. I will be bad and read at least to 75% today, if that is alright with your ladies? Well, even if it isn't. LOL! Not really questions, but statements you can comment on, if you like.
1. I must say, I am just loving these three characters - yes, I'm including Clive. I have a non-sexual "attack cat" story to tell you all one day, so I'm finding him very believable and not over the top.
2. I didn't think I'd like a "man whore" book - and the heroine being instantly gaga over him, but sometimes an author as deft as this one can win me over. She's certainly doing a great job!
3. One of the things I really like is the gradual building of a relationship between Caroline and Simon. You can see them becoming friends and getting closer, the author doesn't just go, "Poof! They are friends."
4. The secondary characters are a hoot. I love the twist of (view spoiler).
5. I usually don't like the e-Mail, texting sections of a book, so when it is done, I skim over them. However, these are so realistic and move the story along so nicely that they are a joy - and a giggle - to read.
6. This is a fast read, but the author is good at giving pertinent information to provide character background and setting the scene. Makes it zip along.

Comments on Lisa Kay's Not really questions, but statements you can comment on, if you like. 1.That's how I though about him , the third character . He is a strong character

5.Email and texting is one my favourite part of a book , the reason could be I've done it a lot with exs and husband and it gave me good butterflies in my stomach waiting for the reply. I still have the lovey dovey texts from husband after our first couple of dates . ;)
6. I'm not a big fan of 1st POV but this one is good because of all the background info is providing , I'll probably read the authors books
@ ShoSho#4 - Ah! Then you are better than me; I didn't pick that up as I was switching them too much in my mind. I had to really concentrate on the guys' names when I realized they were important to the story and really get a MENTAL picture of them in my brain. (When back to the physical description section.) #5 - Yes, well that would explain it, then. I don't text, though I eMail a lot. I have to pay, like, 5¢ a letter, so I get a little irked when someone text's me. Actually, I don't use my cell phone much. Now, my iPod/Touch I use a lot; I need to take a class from those Apple Genius guys. Sweet that you've kept your hubby's text. ☺

As far as personal experience, I would say O could go missing, but for me it happened later in life. It was like going a-round-and-a-round on a merri-go-round and not quite...being...able...to...reach...that...gold ring! Very frustrating. But she came back. ☺

I finished it this morning and loved it , there are a couple of paragraphs at the end that can be counted as the best epilogue ever!
I finished tonight and loved it, too. Great epilogue!
I'm only 30% in and I love it already. I like that although they feel attraction for each other they don't immediately fall in bed together.

Oh my gosh, I freaking loved it. I'm on my second go round after I finish the book I'm read-for-review'ing now. I don't often like books where the character has my name in it, it's a bit disconcerting, (that and usually Caroline seems to be the name of the uppity bitch in historicals) but these two characters won me over. It's been a very long time since I read a book where I enjoyed the chemistry and sexual tension so much that I actually didn't want it to end. So many laughs, so well done, it was like a great romantic-comedy that I'd take my friends to go watch on a girls' night out, only in a book :-)

I was going to ask you how do you about reading a book where the H has your name?!
Yea, it can definitely be weird, I actually liked it that this was 1st person POV, otherwise it might have thrown me off more. For all that Caroline's not an unusual name, it's not a very common one in romances... or if the character is named Caroline, it's usually shortened to Carrie, which I never get called, so I don't identify with it.

I rarely find heroines with my name. But, my girl's names I have found and it's hard to read those. Especially if it's on the smuttier side LOL

Caroline Reynolds has a fantastic new apartment in San Francisco, a KitchenAid mixer, and no O (and we’re not talking Oprah here, folks). She has a flourishing design career, an office overlooking the bay, a killer zucchini bread recipe, and no O. She has Clive (the best cat ever), great friends, a great rack, and no O.
