Since we obviously can't say "Lily killed Marie" we had to come up with a relatively fair way to roleplay this. First off, we have to start with not every character is perfect. Even if you have a career, they can't be perfect. To solve the Mary Sue problem, you must choose from a list of weaknesses and a list of strengths. These aren't the normal strengths and weaknesses, these would help or hurt you in the arena. Make sure that they match up a bit with your District/life style; if you were from District One, it's unlikely that you know how to heal with the plants around you. And please, don't just pick the mildest flaws. Have some bad ones! You need to have two strengths and two weaknesses. No more and no less. You may be fine at other things and a bit bad at some things, but these are the main strengths and weaknesses of your tribute. The list is below.

Strengths
Archery
Climbing
Healing
Hiding/Camouflage
Hunting
Knife Throwing
Spear
Speed and Agility
Sword

Weaknesses
Bad Aim (view spoiler)
Clumsy (view spoiler)
Exhaustion (view spoiler)
Food Deprivation (view spoiler)
Lack of Outdoor Knowledge (view spoiler)
Slow Witted (view spoiler)
Slowness (view spoiler)

Anyway, in the games, extreme things may happen. Moderators can post disasters and such, and they will kill some people. The things moderators can post will never be to their advantage, and if any member suspects them of doing that for their characters to win, the event will not be in effect. Members can also request things in the games in the [ questions / comments / suggestions ] thread.

Besides that, the strengths and weaknesses will play out. Some tributes will just be plain weak. Not all of them are super strong. They will be killed in the bloodbath and early on. There will be fights between tributes. Allys will matter. You could be killed in your sleep. There is no way to prevent death, and if we see any tribute acting flawless, the mods will discuss it, message the player of that character, and if the actions don't stop, we'll kill off the character.

Say there was a fight between a girl that's good with knife throwing, and another girl that's good with healing and climbing, but is slow. She would end up dying because of those weaknesses. Everything will unfold and be explained more in the games, but for now, the strengths and weaknesses are in control.
