Oh, Jessica, I really loved North and South. It has some similar things with Pride and Prejudice, but I think it's only Margaret and Mr. Thornton's parts. I'm glad you're loving it!

I've only read London's White Fang and it was okay for me. I guess I should read more of his stuff.

It's quite alright. I'm getting more information or insights on him anyways. I thought Hemingway would be on the same level as Steinbeck--and I dislike Steinbeck a bit--and your thoughts/opinions seemed to provide me at least to give Hemingway a chance.

I hope I worded that correctly.

Pink | 5491 comments I think you worded that perfectly. I can only say my personal experiences with Hemingway. He might be worth trying something else, or he might not be for you, nothing wrong with that, we all have different tastes. I've certainly read a lot of good authors that I haven't got on with at all.

IB (hqmmx) | 54 comments I agree, Pink.

IB (hqmmx) | 54 comments I think this challenge is complete with eight books that I've read. Although, I'm trying to finish the two books that I have left by the end of this month.
