Um... Well I like realistic dramas. You?
Cool. Did we have a plot yet? Or just wing it?
I'm not sure. Definitely something realistic but I don't know of anything specific. And you?

we could always do a dramatic high school thing? I might have an idea.
Okay. It's kinda cheesy but we could do something where one guy is off to college and the other is in high school but they want to get married eventually but the high school guy hasn't come out of the closet and they help each other. I know it's not like super specific but it's all I got lol. The high school guys father could be like super religious too.

I don't care since I've played both roles before. :)
Uh....dang that's a hard one.... I guess I'll go with the one in high school
Should we make the characters now?

Age: 19
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Openly Homosexual
Appearance:

Personality: Zane is a bit of a hopeless romantic. He believes in marriage and happiness and dreams and doing what is necessary to have it all. He is a hard worker. He's incredibly artistic and sporty though not very book smart. He has to work very hard just to stay afloat in school. However, he never gives up hope no matter what and has a generally good outlook on the world. He is often considered to be a bit of a goof.
History: Zane grew up as the only child of two artists. His mother is an established painter and his father was his mother art teacher in college. Needless to say, his parents are very open and accepting of anything and everything. They always pushed Zane to do new things and live as he wanted no matter what anyone thought. So, when Zane was 11 and told his parents that he was gay, they were nothing but happy for him. Zane has been open, but not obvious, about who he is ever since. So, when Zane met his boyfriend he wasn't afraid to hide it, he wanted to shout it to the world. He's in love and he knows it. However, he respects his boyfriend's unwillingness to come out and will wait forever if he really has to. Unfortunately, Zane just got accepted to his dream college and leaves very soon...and all he wants is for their relationship to last so that they can live happily ever after.
Name: Timothy Ellis
Age: 18
Appearance:

Personality: Timothy is a really quiet person and isn't really shy but he just doesn't trust people very easily since it is difficult for him. He is a really smart person but doesn't have much self confidence since he is insecure about a lot of things because his parents tell him different things about himself so he doesn't know if the positive things or negative things are true or not. But even so he's a really sweet person since he doesn't believe that anyone deserves to be treated bad since everyone is a human being and deserve at least to have others be nice to them. He hates it when people call him Tim but let's his boyfriend get away with calling him Timmy. But other than that he doesn't like nicknames that much since he thinks they are strange.
History: For as long as he can remember, Timothy has lived a pretty stable life even though many people would consider him to be a sheltered person since he doesn't know a lot of things about the real world. His parents are very religious people and they have high moral standards for their sons (since he has an older brother). But his brother is already out of the house with a nice wife (he's 23) and she is having their first kid so naturally they are proud or him since he has a family and is an engineer so he is the definition of successful in their minds. Timothy doesn't consider himself to be smart enough to be an engineer and has always considered something different like journalism but his parents would not be supportive since it's a stupid idea to them and a bit of a girly thing since they are very closed minded. They do love him, but it's complicated.

So who would you like to start?
Sure! How much detail would you like?
Okay!
-----
Timothy was heading to school feeling a bit tired but decided it would be alright since it would go away after a while. He went to class but couldn't seem to focus since he could already tell it was going to be a long day. He tried to think. Why was his mood so sour? He then remembered the conversation he had with his mother about how much of a slob he was and how he was an idiot. He sighed, if she knew the rest of the truth she'd only hate him more but he knew that he had to tell her the truth about himself before he left. He wanted to be free despite being scared.

((He is if you want him to be))

Zane was already in the first college class of his life, and he was having a hard time focusing. He didn't recognize anyone and the class was huge. He felt small and meaningless. He missed Timothy. At least when they went to the same school he would know that he had Timothy to meet with after every horrible class. Now, now he was alone and he didn't like it. He felt fidgety and he couldn't understand half of what the teacher was saying. He wasn't great with paying attention under normal conditions, but it was even worse when he was nervous like he was now.
Timothy remembered that Zane was in his first college class and decided to text him since he hoped it would brighten up his day. 'I hope you have a great day! I love you!' It said but no one know who he was texting since he had saved Zanes contact as Muffin. He didn't know what college would be like for him but all he knew was that it must be a bit scary and Timothy figured that a nice text definitely couldn't hurt at all.

'You're welcome! I'm so glad I could help you! <3' he send back when he had to put it away since the teacher was starting to stare at him as if she had seen him. He quickly put it away and hoped to be able to see Zane today. He needed to talk to him but knew that now he would be much busier now with school and everything else. Timothy knew that Zane probably wouldn't have much time for him anymore and that made him a bit sad but he forced himself not to think about it since he would only get more anxious.

'Of course! <3 I can't wait to see you!' he immediately replied which definitely lifted his spirits a lot. He hadn't been able to see him in a while that this was relief. Well okay, he had actually seen him a few days ago but still. Timothy sighed happily and decided to try and pay attention even though he knew that now that he'd get to see Zane the day wouldn't go fast enough. He sighed and kept glancing at the clock when he realize there was something important that he would need to talk to him about. 'I have something important to tell you too, but don't get upset okay?' he wrote hoping that this wouldn't cause problems.

Timothy read the message and was a bit confused at first when he shook his head and immediately replied back, 'don't be scared it's nothing bad I promise. I just might worry you is all' he said not even considering breaking up since that thought never even occurred to him. He did feel bad because he didn't mean to scare or worry him but the issue he wanted to talk about was very important. But soon enough Zane would understand why and would even be able to help.

((I'm going to skip to when they meet.))
Zane waited in their usual meeting spot, his hand in his pockets. He was pacing because he was incredibly nervous.
Timothy went there as soon as possible and showed up relieved to see him but also knew that he was late which wasn't good. He walked up to Zane and sighed, "hey," he said with a smile that seemed a bit forced since he was really nervous. "How was your first day?" He asked trying to sound relaxed but it wasn't working.

((Sorry if I disappear. Getting sleepy.))
((It's okay I am too))
Timothy blushed and nodded knowing he needed to tell him. "I'm sorry," he said realizing it did sound bad and he felt bad about that. "I was just thinking that this is my last year in high school and everything and I've been wanting to accept myself more and....well...I love you and I know you know that...but....I think...." He felt so bad for hesitating so much but this was hard for him to admit. "I think I'm ready to tell my parents," he final,y said after a bit of a pause.

"Really?" He asked sounding so relieved and happy. "Do you think it'll be okay?" He asked. "I've just been so scared to tell them. What if they hate me?" He asked a bit worried thinking the worst since he didn't want anything bad to happen like him getting kicked out.
((Going to bed)

Zane gently stroked the boys cheek. "They won't hate you. They're you're family and they will never truly hate you. They might be upset for a while, but sometimes it just takes time for people to understand. If things do go wrong you know my parents will take you in in a heart beat. And I'm here for you no matter your emotional state. You just deserve the chance to be the real you."
(It's okay lol)
Timothy sighed relieved that he was so supportive. "Thank you," he said. "I guess I'm just terrified. I don't know how to tell them," he said knowing that his dad would probably have the hardest time with it over anyone else. He started to freak out a bit, "what if they disown me? What if I get kicked out?" He asked getting more nervous than necessary.

He nodded hoping his parents wouldn't actually kick him out, but he wasn't sure. But he didn't argue with Zane since they still had each other. Everything would be fine he just had to believe. "At least I still have you," he said a bit hopeful.
