I really enjoyed this one and look forward to the next book in this series. https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Okay, 97% into a library ebook borrow of "The Unleashing" — what the heck is needed from Hel?
Anyone have a different edition of the book who can fill in the missing piece?
Debbie - the paperback is exactly the same as the ebook.I've posted the question through SL's webpage, so hopefully we'll eventually get an answer.
I got a reply from Cheryl, SL's webperson - army."I need an army. Hel can provide one."
Makes so much sense when you know.
I started this book several months ago and I read a few pages and put it down then forget.I try again and it is the same thing.
For some reason I cannot get into this one. It is weird because I normally like this type of thing.
Sandra wrote: "That's sad Dawn. Maybe it just isn't your thing or you're just not in the mood."It really is sad :-(
I am hoping it is just a mood thing.

Kera Watson never expected to face death behind a Los Angeles coffee shop. Not after surviving two tours lugging an M16 around the Middle East. If it wasn’t for her hot Viking customer showing up too late to help, nobody would even see her die.
In uncountable years of service to the Allfather Odin, Ludvig “Vig” Rundstrom has never seen anyone kick ass with quite as much style as Kera. He knows one way to save her life—but she might not like it. Signing up with the Crows will get Kera a new set of battle buddies: cackling, gossiping, squabbling, party-hearty women. With wings. So not the Marines.
But Vig can’t give up on someone as special as Kera. With a storm of oh-crap magic speeding straight for L.A., survival will depend on combining their strengths: Kera’s discipline, Vig’s loyalty… and the Crows’ sheer love of battle. Boy, are they in trouble.
