I love you, you love me
Lie down here for all to see
Touch my face, smile that smile
Hang out with me for a while
That girl sighs as she goes by
Sweet jealousy of you and I
That one gives a scornful glance
I grin and reach inside your pants
Her huff could blow a bonfire out
Yeah too bad, bigot, run and pout.
The court will soon give the okay
For us to share a name someday
So take your selfish little mind
And shove it up your tight behind.
We have a love you'll never find.

:-) I always love your poems.

I love the chance to play with words - you should try it sometime. 100 words is a nice short length, fast to do, and the exact number is just enough challenge.

"Did you have fun?" I asked Tray, holding my breath.
"Yes," he said easily.
I sent a prayer into the universe, relieved I hadn't scared him away.
"The cliff was fun, wasn't it?"
He nodded. "Wish I was like you, though."
"Tray." I said firmly, trailing a finger along his jaw. "If wishes were fishes..."
"Show me more of your world, Sapphire."
I grinned up, loving the challenging gleam in his eyes.
"You'll trust me?"
Tray called me fearless; but it was him who'd always been so unafraid.
"Without a doubt."
A smirk and he bent to kiss me sweetly.
100 words. A drabble of Flash Fiction.
Please mark your drabble with #2 or *2 (or a bold-letter title - those words don't count in the 100) or something in the first line so we can easily tell a Drabble from the comments. I'll link them as usual below.
Have fun. Don't worry about polish. Drabble away.
