inspired. i love reading other people's writings so that I can learn writing techniques and stuff like that from them. also, sometimes when i am reading something else i will get inspired about ideas for my own writings.

Depends on what kind of bad day. One big one for me has been "The Call" by Regina Spektor. Others include "From a Terrace" by Hey Marseilles and "Expression" by Helen Jane Long.

well, i don't know why, but it kind of doesn't make a difference to me what the words are as long as the melody is calming.
so many song choices... erm, anything by five for fighting, anything by mayday parade, second chance by shinedown, and kiss it all better by he is we.

All the time. An example is Yiruma's "River Flows Through You." I was at work when it got stuck in my head and I thought about how this girl at my school reintroduced me to it.

Yes. And then you try to hum it to someone to see if they can recognize it and they just stare at you weirdly.
