Saru (Queen of Bookland) (sarulovesbooks) | 3290 comments Yeah, I love them!

Do you ever dog-ear pages?

message 3302: by Sevania (new)

Sevania (sevthedev) | 2512 comments I used to a lot. I don't anymore. And I don't use bookmarks either. I usually try to remember my page number and if that doesn't work I end up spending about three minutes searching for my place.

Come to think of it... I'm not a very efficient reader...

Does your library have a summer reading program?

Saru (Queen of Bookland) (sarulovesbooks) | 3290 comments Yes!

Have you ever volunteered at the library?

message 3304: by Grace (last edited Jun 15, 2013 03:37PM) (new)

Grace (fives) | 1090 comments YES YES I DO! I AM LIKE THE LIBRARYS FAVORITE FAMILY!
I do a lot at the library, like I helped my sister in the bookstore she volunteers at. And I also made a list of popular books that the library needs and I write down how many they have on the shelf and what books are checked out and what books on hold...
And I sometimes help with crafts.
I volunteer A LOT at my library.
And like everyone who works at the library know my family.

Same?

Saru (Queen of Bookland) (sarulovesbooks) | 3290 comments You just described my life.

What three things would you bring with you to a deserted island?

message 3338: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments My iPod, wifi, and a boat.

Oh, I can't bring a boat? Fine. A house, Hazel, and a grocery store.

Grace (fives) | 1090 comments My favorite book (Knife of Never Letting Go) Goodreads (AKA my laptop with a never ending battery.) and my family (Can I bring my family? I don't want to start talking to myself all the time! But would that be mean? Forcing my family to come to a deserted island just because I want them to?)

Who are the three people you would bring with you to a deserted island?

message 3341: by Halah (last edited Jun 22, 2013 10:31AM) (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments Steve Irwin, my dad, and someone who knows how to make a boat.

Ever been on a boat/ship?

message 3342: by Sevania (new)

Sevania (sevthedev) | 2512 comments Yeah, but not for long (no cruises or anything).

Do you get carsick?

message 3343: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments I used to a lot. It was really bad. I'd turn the color of broccoli stems and start shaking and sweating. Now I only do that during anxiety attacks. :D

What is your earliest memory involving Mickey Mouse?

message 3344: by Sevania (new)

Sevania (sevthedev) | 2512 comments Oh, geez. I was in Disneyland when I was about three or four, but there might have been something earlier than that. My specific memory about that Disneyland trip was standing outside a shop that had an open front, and there were a ton of mouse ears and Disney merchandise things.

Okay. So. Say you were given a chance to get a billion dollars. What you'd have to do is walk into a room where ten handguns were lying on a table. Only one of them is loaded. You must pick up one of the guns, put the barrel to your head, and shoot. There would be no picking up/touching the guns before you made your decision. If you walked out of the room, you would do so a billionaire. Would you do it?

message 3345: by Taylor (new)

Taylor | 0 comments Well, if we were to look at this the way a statistician would, the equation would look something like this.

(1,000,000/.9)-(infinity/.1)

Do the math. Not worth it. I'd keep my life.

A burglar breaks into your house while you are having a business dinner with someone who is threatening to ruin you financially. You point a gun (filled with a blank…you only intend to scare him) at the burglar, who then threatens to knife your business partner if you don't put the gun down. Do you keep up your fake threat and let this man be knifed, or risk having your house robbed?

Saru (Queen of Bookland) (sarulovesbooks) | 3290 comments Let my house be robbed. A human life is priceless.

Same ? because I can't top that. XD

message 3347: by Sevania (new)

Sevania (sevthedev) | 2512 comments I'd put the gun down. But hopefully, the business guy will turn out to be a secret ninja and take care of the robber before I have to do anything.

What is the temperature outside?

message 3348: by Halah (new)

Halah (valhalah) | 925 comments 29 degrees celsius

What do you see as my profile pic and what did you see before?? I'm having technical issues..

message 3349: by Grace (new)

Grace (fives) | 1090 comments Um... it's a peace sign thingy...
And it was when I last looked...

What would you do if a man who said he was looking for his daughter told you to help him look for her (And you did, you have no say in that!) and when he found her, she grabbed a gun and pointed it at you and the man who was looking for her gave you a gun to shoot her with, would you run or shoot her?
(Also, the girl has green eyes and brown hair and is around 14 and is wanted for stealing a car and lots more and the man has hazel eyes and black hair and is around 30. Just in case that would change anything you would do.)

message 3350: by Katarina (new)

Katarina | 491 comments Um.. I would run bc I would be wanted for murder

Same?
