Do you ever predict if a movie character will die based on the actor's deaths (or lack of) in previous movies?

message 5279: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments YES. My favorite actor has a nasty habit of either being dumped, being shot, going crazy, or dying, so I get a nice pick.

Your question reminded me of this video. Warning: death. Lots of it.

What decade of the 20th century do you like best?

message 5280: by tesni (new)

tesni (akhmatova) | 5031 comments I don't know about 'like' per se because there are so many dark and awful things in every era so 'liking' too general probably - but the places/times/etc that interest me most are postwar Britain and interwar Europe, especially their countercultures and subcultures and all.

e.g: art in the service of the revolution, esp in 1920s russia (constructivism! don't look at me), teddy girls, queer subcultures of the weimar republic (!!!) kitchen sink realism, cinema culture (both here and in america), the inter- and postwar london theatre scene, etc etc. also I'm really fascinated by american film culture because it is so ridiculous and I can't escape.

I didn't even answer that question properly; I am awful.

which fictional character are you most like, and why/in what way?

message 5281: by Grace (new)

Grace (fives) | 1090 comments Does my Ipad count? If so, almost all day.

message 5283: by Grace (new)

Grace (fives) | 1090 comments Sometimes, but I try to not laugh out loud because most of the time I'm around people and I don't want to go "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" For it may annoy people because I have a very loud and silly laugh. Most of the time I am just laughing inside.
