I forgot to say that I'll be starring/reviewing these here on Goodreads, and I review and/or at least talk about my reads on my youtube channel, Dinosaur in the Library: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxD_...
Should've been posting in new replies rather than editing the post. Duh. I've read my classic (We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson), my book-to-movie (The Haunting of Hill House by Shirley Jackson), and my book of short stories (The Lottery and Other Stories by--you guessed it--Shirley Jackson).
book set in a different country: Americanah by Chimamanda Ngoze Adichie author of color: Strange Library by Haruki Murakami
nonfiction: Living with a Wild God: A Non-Believer's Search for the Truth About Everything by Barbara Ehrenreich
sci-fi/fantasy: The Long Earth by Terry Pratchett and Stephen Baxtergraphic novel: Elmer by Gerry Alanguilan
Juvenile fiction: Banana Twist by Florence Parry Heide
one-word title: Flatland by Edwin A. Abbott
thriller: Hyde by Daniel Levine
I finished all but 4 of my projected reads. Anxiety issues affected my reading this last month, but I had a lot of fun doing this! I'll update the last couple of read books soon and discuss on my youtube channel :-)
