This is amazing! I love how sad it is. That sounds masochistic, but it is often way too true in real life, at least the whole "soul mate" and "never meeting them" aspect.

Halcyonic, you scream
Ripped wings, bleeding lips
you were not the chosen one.
Apathy, unfamiliarity
Fear, a rhythm in your flawed heart
as you say, "Won't you...
talk to me?"
Strangers meet, part again
Re-meet. Is this not full-circle?
A clash of titans, the joke of fools
Where did all your wrath go?
No, you said.
Full-circle is a this:
Strangers meet, part again.
Re-meet. Learn to sing of comradeship,
of long nights, strange tears
habits and necessities
of brokenness and histories
it is written in the ink
of your veins
alongside laughter, squinting eyes
embarrassment, no boundaries
inside jokes, disappointment
saying, we are familiar.
When did you lose this? This perfect
imperfection that is
us.
(WHOOPS. that got longer than I wanted)

Happens to me all the time. So I keep a notepad by my bed.

I'm new here :) thanks for the info!

You're very welcome. Although, he has been moving on to the black market zombie industry, so cupcakes may not interest him anymore.
Taylor? You there? Any opinion?

My opinion is that I am even getting a little tired of black market work. Hazel caught me hauling bodies and was a little disturbed, even though she thought the fundraising aspect was very clever. So I think I'll stop. :D

People die. A lot. That's just a fact.
Carly Jae is an assassin, just like the rest of her family. At sixteen years old, she has taken of lives of four people. Her fifth mission is an important one. It will determine her future. But the killing doesn't go as Carly Jae expects it to. Before she knows it, she's uncovering truths that were never included in her extensive training - truths about her family and her history.
Blood runs deep, but secrets run deeper.
What do you guys think? Does it sound intriguing? Clichéd? Would you read it? I haven't actually started writing it, but I probably will.

That's exactly what I thought, hahaha.
That's exactly what I thought, hahaha.

I should pick it up. Then again, I've always been the type to procrastinate. I yawn and open another tab. I should check on YouTube. Another video's bound to be up by now, one good enough to fill my headphone-less ears . . . right?
The gods of luck are not by my side. My subscription feed has nothing new.
My shoulders droop and I hold back a curse. Okay. That's over with. Maybe I should catalog all my books onto Goodreads? My eyes hover to the tiny clock at the bottom of the screen. I curse. Lamp! Only five minutes till guitar class. I'm not even prepared yet.
. . . And yet, here I am, typing away random stuff into a club. I wonder once more whether I hit my head too hard when I was younger and slowly edge away from my laptop, getting ready for the day.
