All we know in the end concerning Sarah Reddington and her family, including Raphael, is they stayed on the island. What does this mean? Enough closure to this aspect of the story?

Oh, I think I got ahead of myself in earlier comments.

I wonder if Raphael had enough character to allow Giselle to grow up a bit more. I hope that Sarah and her two youngest children found happiness and love after Reddington received a smidgeon of the "justice" that he should have paid for dearly.

I wanted more and hope they talk about them in the next book. Somehow, they've got to be integrated into society. Giselle's never been off that island and Sarah's been there at least twenty years! It bugged me that the story didn't close this loop. I think Raphael will want to take things slowly, as he was trying to do all along.

I agree with you on all points. When I re-read this series sometime in the future, I want to see where some of the later characters first appear and make it a point to follow through.
Raphael is one such young person who gives the reader hopes for good out of evil.
