Zaira Rivera | 2 comments So I read a science fiction book series for kids 12-18 about 10 years ago. I don't remember much about it other than it had a bunch of kids/teens as the MCs. They had powers. I remember there was a scene where they were running through a forest, and another scene where there was a reservoir that I believe they swam in even though they technically weren't supposed to. I think at one point one of them got kidnapped and the others had to rescue them from the captors.
The girl MC in that book (each book was in a different person's perspective, much like in animorphs) was climbing down a shaft and had to cut off her arm at one point (I don't remember why), but it grew back silvery until it was full sized again, when she was able to remove the silvery stuff and reveal brand new skin (the best comparison I have to the silvery thing is when Voldemort gives Wormtail his hand back in the HP movies). When she lost her hand she was with another person. Another one of the MCs had powers dealing with electricity. I think the title of the series may have started with an "S" but I'm not certain. The phrase "Storm Shockers" comes to mind in relation to the title, but I can't find it when I look it up, so it's probably not right.
Thank you in advance for all your help! I really want to find this series again.
