Question about Matthew and Diana Honesty with each other?

Im a little confused with the whole Diana reading Matthew's' mind and Matthew knowing all her secrets from drinking her blood. If this is true how come he does not know about the Goddess and the sacrifice Diana made to save his life in book 1?

Honestly, he probably does know it by the end of the 2nd book. He just hasnt brought it up, what with everything else going on in their lives. That said, he does in fact know why she was able to save him (her being a weaver), just not the how. I expect it will come to light in the 3rd book.
