About to start listening to Wuthering Heights while I wait for small boy to go to sleep. I was sure he'd be asleep by now having been out playing in the snow this morning while at forestry school, but nope, he's wriggling about all over the place without any sign of tiredness. Ho hum at least I can listen to my book now as I have read his stories to him.

Almeta - about the two members we haven't heard from yet, Janet and Athena. Athena's no longer a member (I don't know why anyone would want to leave us), and could that be Tejas Janet who decided to go with the other team? I'm pretty sure she's the only Janet in the Toppler.

Must have been Tejas Janet, she posted her books and several comments in the Love Stinks thread. I didn't notice her change of mind. Could be, since she is new, that she didn't realize which thread to use in the beginning,

Athena was a brand new recruit through Debra. I think she was having a difficult time understanding the difference in the various disscussions. Sorry we did not help more. :(

Thanks for the investigation. I'll remove them from the list.

message 200: by Rusalka, Moderator (new)

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19221 comments Alright I'm a crappy team member. Our not so great weekend ended with our little red hen, Shylock, getting very ill again on Sunday. We got her medicine, and nursed her overnight and this morning, but she passed away sometime during the day while we were at work :(

So that has cut into reading time, and then events at work tomorrow. I did start another book for this challenge at the doctors (finally got there after dealing with Shylock at 7.30pm tonight and had to sit in the waiting room for an hour) Grave Witch as the Sookie Stackhouse omnibus is too big for my handbag. So I have two books to finish by Saturday night.

Maybe I can convince my passengers in the car on Friday and Sat to listen to an audio book for those 6 hours and make it 3.
