Prayers for Brittnie and her whole family, and prayers for Al and his family too. Cancer stinks! It's taken way too many friends from me, and I know so many people going through it right now.

I am praying for Brittnie for healing recovery and good results. I am also praying for Al. May he be covered with healing blessings for his body. I am also praying for all the families as they help there loved ones.
I would like to ask for prayers for myself. I am always hurting from head to toe. I keep going and lately I have been very depresses. Reading, crocheting and watercolor painting haschelped but lately I have been in a slump.Thanks

Al got through his surgery and they got the stone this time. This is the 2nd try for the kidney stone! He's still at the hospital, I usually stay with him after a surgery but they didn't have a room for him so they were going to keep him in the recovery area for the night and send him back to Spaulding tomorrow! He's supposed to start chemo next Monday or Tuesday but his Urologist wants to continue the antibiotics so that may delay his start date for the chemo!Thank you for all the prayers they are really helping me get through which is helping him get through all of this insanity!
Linda glad to hear about Brittnie! Good luck and I will pray for her recovery and good clean reports!
I went to the praise part but there is not one for June. So one great thing finally happened, I recently found out thanks too my lawyers I will finally be getting disability which will help out a lot.

Rebecca, so glad to hear Al surgery went well. praying for speedy recovery and that he will be ok through chemo that he is starting soon. Sending positive vibes and hugs your way.

Thanks Kim. I got rear ended today. My car is okay some paint chipped on the bumper. But the fellow who hit me said he was from brazil I asked for his insurance and he said it was for beazil. He would not give me any id or insurance. He said I can give you my phone number and my email address.I told him that was not good enough. He looked at mu bumper and said he ddidn't make the paint come off. I told him he did. He ended just leaving the scene. I got his license plate number and called the police. They will investigate it. What a week.
Oh I forgot to mention he hit me in the taco bell drive thru and he hit me so hard my hesd snapped back and fourth. I hope I don't start having more problems with my neck.

Oh my goodness Jessie! Sure hope they find him and make him pay. If he left the scene of an accident, he should be charged for that. Praying you don't have any neck problems.

Hi everyone! Today's my birthday I'm going to be spending the first part with Al and some family and the second part with more family but no Al! I guess I should be very happy that things are going relatively well, however, this is not how I wanted to spend my 50th birthday! Oh well! I can't fix it I have to leave that to God! Everyone please keep praying we are now working on how Al can come home! This will probably take awhile, I'm guessing 2 months at least, but I am hoping that it will be worth it in the end!
I am praying for all but especially Linda and her family, Jessie I'm so sorry that you got rear ended and then got sick that is no good! Getting SSDI should help a bit my husband is on it and it helped us a lot when he got his first check because they paid him from the time that he filled out the application!

Thanks for the get well wishes everyone. Better with the stomach ache but in real pain this week with my siatica nerve. I just keep plugging along. The car incident will be okay the guy went back to Brazil and did not tell his relative that he rear ended someone with their car. Needless to say the wife was pretty upset about it and that he told me the car was a rental. At least there was only some paint chipped. I am not injured. Prayers for linda and her family going up to the Lord, also for Rebecca and Al. Also for everyone on our goodreads site. Have a blessed day. Good nite.

Hey would you guys pray for my husband and me? We recently moved because my husband got what we thought was going to be a good job and he wanted to be closer to his friends, however the insurance is really expensive and we have so much coming out that we're not going to be able to afford bills and things. We're trying to see if we can drop some or all of the insurance, but I'm not sure what's going to happen and my husband feels like a failure. We're just having a really hard time right now.
I will pray for you and your husband. Insurance is outrageous now. Try to have a blessed week.

Today my daughter Brittnie goes to the dr to find out results from her pathology report Please pray for a good report that this cancer has not spread and she will feel the peace of God. Thank You all.

Linda I will be praying for good results from the doctor's for your daughter. I am still having extreme pain in back, legs, etc. I will have an epidural shot in july. I am hoping that wil help. I will be praying for everyone's prayer requests.

Linda I am so sorry to hear the news! God must have a plan for Brittnie and for Al. I wish I could be with you in person because I have been there and done that you must make sure to enjoy each blessed day that you have with your family! Al has been confined to bed since January and we still enjoy each others company as best we can! The staff at the hospital has begun to bring him outside twice a week to get some fresh air! We were out together for the first time since the fall this past Tuesday! He was grinning ear to ear he was so happy to be outside with his wife!Al is in quite a bit of pain now. He's on dilotted shots and a fentenal pain patch, which they just upped. We don't know if it's the cancer spreading or the fact that he's lying on one side 23.5 hours a day. We are asking for a scan but I think that they will wait until his chemo is done and that won't be for another 6 weeks. All I can do at this point is enjoy the time that we have because I don't know how much longer he will be with us! I pray every day for him, myself, Linda, Brittnie, Jessie, Kim and all the others that are on the site. You have helped me to keep my outlook as positive as it can be!

Linda I am so sorry to hear the news about Brittnie. I will keep praying that they can get the cancer to stop spreading. I will also be praying for strength and that God will be with you both, and will comfort you . Rebecca I am also praying for you and Al that his pain and cancer will go away with the chemo. Prayers are being said for you and Al.

I am also still in a lot of pain I wish July 10th would get here. Hopefully I will get some relief from this shot. Hurts all the time from my neck down to my ankles. I am glad to be part of this wonderful groyp. It keeps my hopes up each day.
Hi Everyone! I haven't been on in a while. I didn't see a prayer request for July so I'm posting this here. Al's pain has been getting worse. They stopped his chemo last week saying that it wasn't working. He has a big day on Wednesday they are doing a scan and then he has two doctors appointments before going back to Spaulding. I think that there is one other development. His right leg has been a little swollen for a week or so as of yesterday it was very large. I think he may have a blood clot in it and could be going into the hospital tomorrow. He has a filter in but it could be clogged because it's been in for 6 months. Please pray for us I am really scared. If this it a big clot he could die on the way to the hospital. I'm very scared!
I hope everyone else is doing ok. I don't see any recent posts so I'm hoping that means no news is good news!

I can relate to the blood clots I pray it will not be that. I also need prayers. I am in a lot of pain and cannot take the pain meds. I will have to have another epidural which is risky for me I have to stop my blood thinners and my nerve medicines. It hurts to walk, sit, lay down. I just keep trying to ignore it but it is really getting much worse. I want to apologize to my secret reader for not being on the ball.
I just wanted to let everyone know that Al passed away Monday night July 27th at 8:44 pm. He was the most peaceful that I had seen him in days. The cancer had gotten into his lungs so he could barely breath and talking was almost impossible especially at the end. He never got to come home but he was at Spaulding on the same floor with all the same people taking care of him so at least they all knew and loved him. I miss him so very much but at least he's not in pain anymore!

I am so very sorry for your loss. You are right he is at peace and no pain now. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers in your time of sorrow. God give you comfort and peace during this time. If you need to just talk you can private message me anytime..

Since her surgery on June 2 they have not done anything, her next appt is Aug 24th. I can not believe they are waiting this long knowing it has spread to the lymph nodes. I keep trying to have them push appts up but they tell me we are lucky to have the one we have because the next available is Jan of 2016. This is terrible. I appreciate the prayers and you are also in mine.

Oh my goodness! That's not good. What hospital are you going through? Do you live near a cancer treatment center of America? My girlfriend looked them up they are in Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Tulsa. They have a hotline number it's 1-800-931-9299. Call them I don't want it to be too late! I'd suggest Boston too but it may be a longer trip than some of these places! I didn't realize it was in her lymph nodes. That's what happened to Al. As soon as they found out they did radiation but it still didn't help. Call that number TODAY!!!!! I'm going to the beach with my girlfriend but I will check back on here when I get back.
Linda I looked back at the posts. I did see the one that you wrote that it was in her Lymph nodes! I am so sorry that everything happened with Al at the same time you're dealing with Brittnie. I've been looking every day when I am home for posts but had not seen any so I assumed that you folks were busy with appointments! I wish there were more that I could do for you at this time. I'm praying as much as I can as I did for Al. In the end his death was a blessing! He was in so much pain and it had gotten into his lungs so he couldn't breath! I was with him when he passed. I've got lots of support around me and I am taking 2-3 weeks off from work. The funeral home was very nice and I will get on a payment plan for his funeral. Hopefully it won't take me 10 years to pay it off but it could! Much love and support along with all the prayers that I can muster! If there is anything else that I can do feel free to e-mail me I would gladly give you my home phone number in an e-mail!
I am dropping in to ask for prayer for my daughter Brittnie as she will be undergoing surgery tomorrow morning for Papillary Thyroid Cancer. Please pray that the surgery is a sucess and for a speedy recovery. Pray for healing in Brittnie's body from this dreadful disease. God is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we ask or think. He will see us through this. Our God is greater and our God is stronger than Cancer or any disease. Thank you so much for all the kind thoughts and prayers.
I won't be on for a couple of days due to staying with her at the hospital. Will update as soon as i can.

Oh and please pray for Rebecca's husband Al who is going through a really rough time right now, he is undergoing surgery on Weds for 8 mm kidney stone above everything else he is going through with cancer. Lift them up to the Lord and ask for healing in Al's body. Amen.
