There are so many characters in this book I am surprised there isn’t a cast index in the front of the book. I am dashing this off quickly so please excuse minor errors. I have only listed the preliminary characters. This will not spoil the book, its meant to help with all the German names.

Arne Frolich - her father, Barbara is stepmother, live next to Lauterbach house

Gregor Lauterbach – Cultural Minister. His secretary is Ines.
Daniela Lauterbach – Doctor, Gregor’s wife

Yes you need this list when you are reading this book. I had to reread lots of sections to get my head around all the characters and if you lave the book for a few days this list would be helpful.
