For enjoyment, I read between 20-30 books a week, in addition to my full-time job as a litigation paralegal. My rates are reasonable, because new authors don’t have much money, but I want them to be able to afford to release an edited and proofread book. I charge .003/word for proofreading alone, and .005/word for editing.
