SOLVED. sister commits suicide and heroine falls for Widower [s]

I can't remember why but the heroine is going to visit her sister widower after she committed suicide. He is rich and angry because his wife was beautiful and he thought they loved each other but once they were married she wouldn't sleep with him. But she was sleeping around. Turns out she had been sexually abused and didn't want to make the man she loved dirty then she couldn't love with herself. May not be an exact plot line. I read it I around 1996
