I got the first two books on audio from Tantor, so I have to listen to them to get my reviews in...I will put on my big girl panties and read it

Then I'll do the second one with you too, Ezi. It might be easier with a buddy. I'll add it in for this month, you tell me when you want to do them, just like we do for Scanguards. ((Hugs))

I have book 2 and I got back from vacation today. I will start audio at work tomorrow

That's sad :(

Yeah, unfortunately the book didn't improve from my list of complaints I posted last night and it left us hanging on what ultimately ended up happening with Sarah's job. It got so boring at one point, I started reading Luther, and you know how I've felt about the recent Scanguards books! I forced myself to finish Home, though, but I don't really want to force the rest of them. Too much like torture, and my TBR is a bit too massive to spend time on a series I haven't really enjoyed to this point.
Ezi, I'll be sending you a PM shortly about new series reads...

I am sorry. I will work harder to read it and see. AS of TODAY, no Luther, no response from author re audiobook

Chapter 1: wow. So $10 is the going rate to barter for a roll in the hay. Well, there is the motel thing. After all little miss Jane didn't have a place to sleep.
Wow. No names exchanged either.

Yup...real classy right there.

I broke down and bought the audio from audible. The CD that Hatchette Audio had sent me was giving me fits

Ugh, sorry to hear that! Are you enjoying it so far?

I have admit, I am enjoying it better today. Loser boyfriend is on the hunt for the "cheap" necklace.

I actually like this story. It's cute. Clay is a stereotypical cowboy, music playing, easy to fall in law, picking up user women :D
His brother Stone would make a better hero as he is much more complex. Not as sensitive and more suspicious.

I thought Ray's girlfriend, not clay, drove the getaway car...
I think Stone might eventually get a story in the series. Widower like he is? Yeah, he's a prime candidate for a story!

Clay drove. I liked it. I don't think I love it enough to continue past book 2 but we will see
