Mary walked in the forest with her hands in her pocket and her hair pulled back.

[Caroline]

Rayne mumbled under her breath, darting through the trees with her amazing light speed.

Noah was stumbling around in the denser part of the bush, trying to keep up with the semitransparent form floating just in his vision. He was going downhill, pushing branches and walking quickly through the thick grasses. He had been chasing this person for almost a week now, trying to figure out what it wanted. It kept running away whenever he came close though. He neared the end and stumbled onto the path, nearly knocking Mary off her feet.

"Ow! "She said and got up

Noah staggered, but fell anyway. He struggled up onto his knees and peered up into the woods, searching for the phantom. It was gone. He sighed, dissapointed again. Then he turned around and saw Mary, remembering he had knocked her over in his rush. "Jesus," He said, getting over and helping her up. "I'm sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going."

" it's fine. Why where you running so fast?"

"I was chasing - " He looked back at her, stopping as he realized he was about to actually tell her. "My... dog." He gave her a half-smile.

"Yeah..." Noah rubbed the back of his head a little awkwardly. "I'm Noah." He smiled. He could have ran into a nastier person.

Mary smelled something weird on him. Ghost . She took a step back. Her eyes suddenly looked canine so she could look around at him trying to decide what he was

Noah suddenly frowned and watched Mary carefully; something seemed off about her now. "You alright?" He asked after a moment, but then his eyes unfocused and stared behind her. There it was again, shimmering just twenty feet behind them.

Mary whipped around sensing it. She snarled at it her canine teeth showing. It shimmered before disappearing. She turned to him
" what are you?" She asked calmly she was positive he was supernatural

Noah took several steps back, eyes returning to normal as he looked at her. "I've been chasing him for three weeks now!" He seemed a little disgruntled, but then sobered as she asked him what he was. "What do you mean?"
