SOLVED. Children's book set in Sudbury, Ontario [s]

I am looking for a children's book I read in the 1960s about a girl who was the the only child of Finnish parents in Sudbury, Ontario. Her father worked in the mines there. I believe the book was published around the time I read it, i.e., mid-1960s.
I loved this because at the time there were few children's books set in Canada, other than those of Lucy Maud Montgomery. Almost all of the children's books I read were set in England or the United States. And as the daughter of parents who had immigrated to Canada, I was interested in the girl's experiences.
Would love to find this book!
