These Five Things (Game)

I used to live in the suburbs of that city and Italian Beefs are one of the things I miss. Don't miss all the snow, but I loved the city when the weather was a touch milder.

I know! Me too! How did I miss this post before?!

I'll do one, though, just for kicks:
1. Barghests
2. Cobblynaus
3. Selkies
4. Daoine Sidhe
5. The King of Cats

Oh is it the October Daye series by Seanan McGuire??

No it isn't him :)
Clue: I'm referring to a whole series, not a specific character

1. Rehabilitation
2. Net
3. Council
4. Emotionless
5. Sentinels and Lieutenants"
I know...I know...It's Nalini Singh's Psy-Changeling series, right?

Oooh, sorry you aren't familiar with Seanan McGuire's wonderful October Daye series about the Fae. It is one of the very best around, with world-building second to none. In fact, I have bumped it ahead of several other wonderful series (like Rachel Morgan, World of the Lupi, Mercy Thompson, and a few others) that I love, and moved it into second place in my heart, right after The Dresden Files.
And if you haven't met Tybalt, King of Cats, well...you just don't know what you're missing. Seanan McGuire is a brilliant, and brilliantly amusing, writer. Her Discount Armageddon series is wonderful, too. I want Aeslin mice to awaken ME every morning, with cries of "All hail the Goddess! The Goddess has awoken!"
:)

2. Coffee Shop
3. Blood bank
4. A hearse
5. The Founder
Name the series. Bonus points for main character's full name.

Err I'm not entirely sure, but is it The Morganville Vampires by Rachel Caine?

Do you know the name of the main character? I can never forget it because her last name is the same as a very wicked character from my favorite book of all time, written in the 1930's by Daphne du Maurier.

Main character is Claire Danvers?
And I guess it's my turn
1. Aristocrats
2. Swamp

The only Bruiser I know is in the Jane Yellowrock books, and I believe Rick LeFleur is now working for PsyLED, but the other references don't ring a bell. But I'll guess maybe Jane Yellowrock?

Ha...you two were posting at the same time. :)
THIS one doesn't ring a bell at all. I love the graphic, though. Hope someone can figure it out. It could be something I need to add to my To Be Read list.

Who's turn is it now?

I'll go next if no one else is playing (wonder what happened to the other post? Maybe it was the graphic?)
Anyway, here's one:
1. Dead people
2. Elvis
3. Bodachs
4. Stormy
5. Fry cook

The answer would be: Stephanie Plum from Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series. I didn't want to spoil a character's potential by using one of them as an example. So I reached outside the bounds of Paranormal and Urban Fantasy for the example. The person who answers correctly gets to choose the next 5 things and we go from there.
Any Questions?
Here's the first set of 5
1) Redhots
2) Italian Beef Sandwiches
3) Windy City
4) Mallocakes
5) Cream cheese and double bacon pizza
What or who am I talking about?
