I decided not to spoiler this because I don't think anything that I said was really something that needed to be hidden. It wouldn't ruin anything.

Agreed calliope is a bit over the top and crazy, she holds a long grudge.. Also feel bad for James since obviously like Kate, but I like the fact Kate is aware of it and yet not torn on her feelings since she really loves henry. It makes a change since lots of series now would have her like both so I'm glad she still sees him as just a friend...
Intrigued to see how abilities develop and I still adore Ava x
I don't think I spoiled anything that wasn't already known, at least hope not...

I also like that the author kept to lots of the mythology with the gods and how their immortality affects their view on things, also how humanity is important to their existence... Very interesting I'm always fond of the gods and goddesses so its nice to see it developed and looked into more this time...
Kate is such an enjoyable narrator, she is not perfect by any means but I found myself coming to love her more in this one... Agreed on many of her thoughts and views which made it fun to read...
I'm try not to spoil anything so not gone into detail but lets just say some shock and fun moments towards the end..

I'm glad that Kate and Henry were finally able to work things out. The way he was acting was frustrating at times. I was a little worried when Persephone showed up but luckily nothing really came of that. It was a nice surprise at the end for her to be pregnant. too bad Calliope was going to screw everything up for her.
I'm looking forward to finishing up this trilogy now.

Me too, I'm glad they finally sorted things out and I adore the fact that neither of them are perfect in the whole romance aspect. Both kind of new to it in different ways so its interesting to see the different views of everyone when it comes to them x I also like that surprise end there, although calliope still causing trouble.. Her mental state is kind of understandable though after what she has had to put up with, I like that Kate recognised that as well but of course doesn't make up for what is happening...
I'm interested to complete the trilogy as well after that ending.
