There are a lot of other people who are going to read, I let other people decide. I'll go either way for the breakdown and I'll do a set of Q's maybe the second one

Thanks for doing the DQs, Elishia! I awoke with a migraine and the pill I took knocked me out. You would have posted already anyway. I'm about 1/2 way now. I listened while I cooked last night. However, I'm so stupid. I was listening and thinking, WTH? Then I realized I was listening to Fool Moon (it was right next to Storm Front on my iPod/Touch) and had to stop and start the right one. LOL!
I think I'll wait to answer the DQs, as I've read this before. But I'll join in after people post.
I'm getting a headache now going to hidrate and hope it doesn't turn in to a migraine i've had enough of those this month.Haha good thing you noticed before you finished.

1. Do you think that Monica knows more than she's saying?
2. Is Murphy more in to this world..."
I remeber the story but not enough to answer! I'm rereading this ... :)

The audio book doesn't say the chapters . I had to check with Amazon to make sure I've read 8 chapters. I'll answer the Qs in a bit
Shosho's answers to Elishia's Q 1-81. Do you think that Monica knows more than she's saying?
I kinda don't trust her.Either she is lying about something or she's not telling all that she knows
2. Is Murphy more in to this world than she lets on? I'm assuming she's seen something or something happened to make her believe in all this stuff.
She's seen something to be able to believe in the supernatural world .
3. What are peoples thoughts on Marcone I thought the steel cage thing was strange.
You mean the stainless steel refrigerator reference right?
I don't understand why he doesn't want Dresden on the case unless he is some supernatural being .
4. Anyone else think Harry's being set up? I'm not liking Morgan so assuming he has something to do with it.
I don't think the murders where setup for him but I think the white council is using it to trap him. It seems he is not on good terms with the council and they'll use anything to bring him down. And Morgan id going to be pain in the butt!!!
5. I don't trust Susan either.
Well I think she is what she shows to be, she is a reporter eager to get info out of Harry and at the same time she is attracted to him. but probably the attraction is not strong enough for her to forget about the article so she might betray him if she gets good material for her article.
6. What do you think Monica's husbands got himself in to?
I have no idea ,can't think of anything.
I read Storm Front in December and enjoyed it. Pretty good for a first in series. There was a lot of world building but I enjoyed the way the plot line came together. Lots of potential for a good series here.
@ ShoSho Post #87#1 – I don’t trust her either. But then, I don’t trust anybody. LOL!
#2 – Whoa. Great question, Elishia. I hadn’t thought of that, but you could be one to something. ShoSho could be right; she must have seen something.
#3 – I don’t think he’s supernatural, but what do I know.
#4 – Oh, yes. Morgan is going to be a PIA.
#5 – I think you’re right; Susan likes Harry, but the story comes first.
I just finished chapter 16 and I did the Qs so I can continue !Shosho's Questions for chapters 9-16

ShoSho wrote: "I saw all the .2 and .5 books . Have you read them? Do we have to read them or just the main books?"They're not necessary to the overall story arc, just little side stories, there's only one story that is mentioned in the later books. But this is after book 8 I think so you don't have to worry.
Butcher has plubished short stories in several anthologies, those are all included in Side Jobs: Stories From the Dresden Files.
I have Side Jobs: Stories From the Dresden Files, but read the stories in order with the books. Before each story there is an intro that tells you when it took place.
Random question:In many reviews people mention that they find Harry's attitude towards women annoying. Murphy calls him a chauvinistic pig, but sometimes it seems almost like a game between them. Does it bother you that he wants to protect women? Do you think he is a chauvinist or a gentleman? Does it affect your enjoyment of the story?
I also noticed that many reviewers were irritated by his attitude toward women. While I do think that he is a little old-fashioned, I wouldn't say that he is a chauvinistic pig. He does seem to respect and admire Murphy. I also think that his awkwardness around Susan is kind of sweet and endearing.
I completely agree with Lauren. I don't think he is a chauvinistic pig in any way, shape, or manner. I think he is a "scholar & gentleman" to quote Shakespeare. Manners are a way of showing respect towards a person. Yes, "sweet & endearing" is a perfect way to describe his awkwardness.

I didn't even notice anything so it didn't bother me at all! I like him I think he is a gentleman.
