message 556: by Tati (new)

Tati hey everyone!

how are you doing?

message 557: by Danielle ♥ (new)

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments I'm doing good! It's 3:41pm here, about 70 degrees, but a bit overcast & rainy. I wasn't able to read yesterday at all because of a friend's 40th birthday party, and today my bf and I cleaned out my storage unit, so I just now sat down to read! How is everyone today? What time is it and what's the weather where you're at?

message 558: by Tati (new)

Tati here it's 4;43 PM, just spend almost three hours ironing clothes... haven't read much this weekend either, weekends are difficult for me to find the time to read

message 559: by Danielle ♥ (new)

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments Me too. I am able to read the most at work, I work mon-fri 9-5 ish. I am also able to listen to books on my commutes to & from work, which is anywhere from 45 mins to and hour and a half, depending on traffic, each way. But weekends are more difficult.

It's 3:50 here and kind of rainy. I was able to read almost all of Magic Study yesterday. I'm on page 261 of 350-ish. I think I was stuck on Circus so I'm cleaning out the cobwebs and going to work back to it. At least I have Magic Study on the list for Round 2.

O.O That's hot! And no worries about the reading. You're one of our top readers so you deserve a break! :)

message 566: by Danielle ♥ (new)

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments Yeah she said she's likely to get online today since it's Sunday but she'd message her if she doesn't update us by midnight tonight Goodreads time. I have faith she's been reading her assignments its just easier to plan when we're more aware of progress :) Nothing she can do about her schedule I'm sure :)

message 569: by Tati (new)

Tati 91 F it's pretty average for the Brazilian summer, but it's hot, especially if it's humid as well

message 570: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Also just updating you guys on my current plan for reading. Finish Magic Study (Romance) hopefully today. Then on to Fire Study (description pending), Storm Glass (Fantasy), Sea Glass(!)(Water for round 1), Spy Glass and then Circus. Or I might add that in in-between the other read since it's for round 1.

True. But here in Canada so far we've been averaging high teens and lower 20's C.

message 572: by Tati (new)

Tati I love those kinds of temps... I'm the most comfortable at that range. However, temps in the teens means I'm bundling up already LOL

I prefer lower temps too. Anything much above 20 and sunny and I have the AC blasting. I'm a spring/fall girl.

message 574: by Danielle ♥ (new)

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments It's about 70F here, any above 70F-75F is too hot for me. I don't know what that is in C ^-^

message 575: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments About 21 so it's on the higher end for me. Although if it's rainy it wouldn't be bad.

message 576: by Tati (last edited Jun 14, 2015 02:28PM) (new)

Tati Danielle, you definitely wouldn't make it here in Brazil LOL

message 577: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Finished Magic Study! :D I'm going to wait to post it though since I'm not 100% sure which description I should use it for.

message 578: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (last edited Jun 14, 2015 04:02PM) (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments Actually Danielle can I have the 800 pages description as well? I can use it for some of the books I need to read in the series that don't work in any other description.

I checked and no one has taken it.

message 579: by Danielle ♥ (new)

Danielle ♥ (readwithmedani) | 2410 comments Tati wrote: "Danielle, you definitely wouldn't make it here in Brazil LOL"

Hahaha no probably not!! A week vaca would be AWESOME else I'd have a heat stroke or something hahaha. Well if you ever visit the northern states in the U.S., come in a summer month else you will freeze your tushy off! Lol!! 70-80F here is the max in the summer. 50-60F in spring/fall and 0-30F in the winter.

Have you finished Circus of the Damned for "1995" or Sea Glass for "water" for Round 1 yet, Bookbuyer?

No I was stuck so I moved on to Magic Study (which I finished today). I know we need to finish round 1 first but I need to read some other books first. I'll read them ASAP.

message 584: by Anna 'Bookbuyer' (new)

Anna 'Bookbuyer' (bookbuyer) | 22764 comments So I'll be reading Fire Study for 800. I'll figure out the other(s) later. Consulting with Sarah to see if my other books can fit into some of the other missing descriptions.

Reading Rediscovered (readingrediscovered) | 876 comments Hi all,
Sorry I haven't updated yet - I had to go home (where there is no internet) for the weekend as my grandfather passed away so we had his funeral & then all the family things that go with that, but on the plus side, I did read a lot!
I have now posted reviews for 4 books & am busy reading 'An Abundance of Katherines' which is the last book I was assigned in round 1 (although I totally understand if you want to move it to a different category).
I should be home with internet for the remainder of the month so I can do a better job of keeping you all updated.

Again, sorry for going off the grid there!
Jessica

Will do! I'll take a look at what's left & sign up for what I think I can reasonably finish this month.
