I think we're good with the categories for round one, they are all currently being worked on. Although I don't know about Jessica. Let's just start signing up for books for round two! @Bookbuyer do you want to give up one of your remaining two? Tati is not currently reading anything!!

Anyone else want to read Paper Towns with Edita and I for Round 2? It fits into 5+ categories so we could potentially all read it and all use it for a different category and all get a buddy point :-) Obviously we need to finish the Round 1 books 1st though!
Danielle, I don't like John Green's books, so I'll be skipping that one, sorry
If Tati finishes books for my description before me that's fine. I'm still going to plug away at the ones I have and we can always use them for round 2. :)

I realize she's probably reading away and it might not be fair but we could prioritize the books she's reading for round 2 if necessary.

If Tati finishes books for my description before me that's fine. I'm still going to plug away at the ones I have and we can always use them for round 2. :)
But I'm anticipating being done them by Sun hopefully.

Also if we are doing a first come first serve for round 2 we'll have to be even more diligent about posting what books we are going to be reading so that we don't double up too often. Some of the time in inevitable but too often and we'll stymie ourselves.

I don't think two people should read for the same category and go with whoever finishes first, because we could potentially be reading something we can't end up using and it will be a waste of time if I'm making any sense. Just read your assignments or give them to someone else so no one gets confused either. And If Tati wants to read 1995 or Water she can still read those for Round Two.

If no one else has sure reads then I can maybe do 'A' and 'Sarah', Trees, Flowers and maybe one or two more depending.

But I'll post in Progress thread and keep that as our "master copy" and update it so we can all reference that for correct info.

Hey, I was thinking - I think until an actual book is decided upon, the category should be up for grabs. Any objections to that? All in favor?My thinking behind this is: hypothetically, I pick a category and don't know what to read for it and take a while to decide, all the while Tati has a book she wants to read & fits that category... Yet the team has to wait around for me to decide, and then wait for me to read the book, when, in my opinion, that category should have been left available so Tati could take it.
What do you think?

I was thinking of it, which is why I only wrote descriptions for which I'll be buddy reading books, so no changing my mind.
Bookbuyer, what do you think? That means you'll need to give me some titles :) :P I expect we won't hear from Ubah or Jessica for a little bit, which is okay.

5. Read a book set in a boarding school.

7. Read a book by an author, or with a character called ‘Sarah.’
8. Winged things… letters ‘B’, ‘A’, and ‘T’ in the title. Danielle An Abundance of Katherines

10. In the Jungle you must wait… a book w/ trees on the cover.
Part 2 – 26 years later…
1. Read a book set in future or past (after 2041 or before 1989).

4. A tiny bite can make you itch. Something that flies on the cover.
5. Watch out for those monkeys! Distract them: read a book w/ food on the cover!

7. Roll a 5 or 8. Read any 800 pgs.
8. What year is it? Read a book published in 1995.

7. There's a monsoon in your lagoon! Water on the cover/in the title.
8. You wrestled a crocodile for me! Read a romance novel.
9. The floor is quicker than the sand. Read a book set at the beach.
10. Need a hand? We each have 8! Read a fantasy story.

I now have a possible BR for Spy Glass so I should be adding that as well as a few other non buddy books.
The descriptions I posted are the ones I'll work on for sure. Already am, actually, as I've just started The Wrath and the DawnAnd, I do have books lined up for nearly every description, should someone need help either to find a book or to finish their descriptions.
