message 108: by Anna (new)

Anna (abunchofbanana) I'm compiling my lists for part 2 and 3 and the final JUMANJI spell out. I'll probably post them sometime tomorrow evening if I don't get them done tonight, but it won't be until late since I work until 5:00, and then I'm going out to see one of my favorite singers with my sister and a friend.

message 109: by Anna (new)

Anna (abunchofbanana) Oh! And for anyone interested in reading a horror story for part two, I highly recommend The Merciless by Agi Vega and Evil Librarian by Michelle Knudsen. Both are fantastic reads.

message 110: by Christina (new)

Christina | 4293 comments Nikinnia
I don't mind doing boundless later in the month.

message 111: by Kina (new)

Kina (gagirl83) | 804 comments Ok Christina. cool

message 112: by Anna (last edited May 26, 2015 11:17PM) (new)

Anna (abunchofbanana) Here are my lists for parts 2 and 3! I'm tackling five books for each part. I'll post my list for Part 4 tomorrow!

Part 2

House - The Ruining by Anna Collomore
Food - Skinny by Ibi Kaslik
Horror - Alice in Zombieland by Gena Showalter
800 pages – TLOS 2: A Grim Warning and TLOS 3: The Enchantress Returns by Chris Colfer (This adds up to 900+ pages, so I figured I'd wipe out the series and complete part of the challenge!)

Part 3

"R" - Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
Missing Person - Paper Towns by John Green
Teammate’s Initial - The Best Night of Your (Pathetic) Life by Tara Altebrando (chose to save Berit on this one)
Water - Monstrous Beauty by Elizabeth Fama (the girl on the cover is underwater, so I think it counts)
Romance - The Selection by Kiera Cass

message 113: by Christina (new)

Christina | 4293 comments Nice list anna

Same nikinnia. I don't do horror stories.. Haha I struggled through Asylum which was a GBR a few months back. I couldn't stand the pictures so I listened to the audio book and I was still creeped out

Jackie wrote: "Sarah, if a person read boundless we can use it for one category, right? Would it count for another category if a different person read the book as well?"

You can count it for any of the category's that it matches. If it fits more than 1, then more than 1 player from the team could use it to complete different descriptions. If it only fits one description, then you can still have up to 4 members of the team read it and use it for the same description ☺

message 115: by Christina (new)

Christina | 4293 comments I just got home and have access to a desktop computer. Let's see how your books fit! I can see that we can cover the descriptions at least 2-3 times over based on the books you girls have pledged to read :)

message 116: by Christina (last edited May 27, 2015 04:48AM) (new)

Christina | 4293 comments @Jackie. Sorry I couldn't help myself doing the puzzle of putting everyone's books together. I assumed you're buddying Legend because I didn't know where else to put it

It looks like some descriptions are harder to complete than others but I managed to do 1-2 per description

It's a good thing we all have a different initial!

message 117: by Jackie (new)

Jackie (jackiegirl02) | 4452 comments Don't worry about it.

message 118: by Berit☀️✨ (new)

Berit☀️✨ (berittalksbooks) I will do some searching for the descriptions we do not have covered :-)

message 119: by Christina (new)

Christina | 4293 comments I'll be taking is easier in june so ill look at books to fill in the spaces too :)

message 120: by Jackie (new)

Christina | 4293 comments Heya Kysa. You can do any book, just let me know and I'll try and fit it into the puzzle so we can maximise our points :)

message 129: by Anna (new)

Anna (abunchofbanana) It looks like the last two things we need to add on to complete every part of the challenge is a book with a beach on the cover/set at the beach and the second "J" in Jumanji, so it looks like we're on the right track to going into the challenge with a full game plan!

message 130: by Berit☀️✨ (new)

Berit☀️✨ (berittalksbooks) Anna, what time zone are you in? I think I found a beach book, On the Island.

Kina (gagirl83) | 804 comments Lol. Yes we did! Yes, let's buddy read that one. I'm sure our team will complete the board multiple times so that should help!

message 141: by Berit☀️✨ (new)

Berit☀️✨ (berittalksbooks) Sounds good! Middle of June would be fabulous!
Christina when did you want to do Miss Mayhem?

message 142: by Anna (new)

Anna (abunchofbanana) I'll take another "I" in Jumanji with The Innocents by Lili Peloquin. That'll give me an even 20 books for the challenge, and I should probably limit myself to that much with my work schedule. But I'll try to add more books depending on when I finish what I've already committed to.

message 143: by Christina (new)
