We did it! We finished the second game! And I think we are only if you descriptions away from finishing the first part of the third game! Great job guys!

Christina I think we need to be strategic so when you finish your gory Book we can use it for the A description in the first part, and if we need to move it later we can ;-) I think we also need Sarah, bullying, And something else I can't remember
Can we use A as the first word in the title for the Alan description?
The description I forgot is boarding school, which Marcus is doing RN!

Descriptions left for Game 3, Part 1
- Read a book about bullying.
- Read a book set in a boarding school
- Read a book by an author, or with a character called ‘Sarah’

I'm almost done with The Retribution of Mara Dyer, and I'm doing it as a buddy read for this group, so I can put it down for the topic of buddy read if we need one for game 3. If not, I can fit it in for BAT or water on the cover. Whichever one we need the most.

We might. We will get close to finishing at least. I hope to be done with my two books tomorrow. I didn't get much reading done yesterday. :(
We are almost done with the first part of the third game as well! Any thoughts on what part after that we should concentrate on?
I can only do something that flies on the cover for part 2. I'm working on R and missing for part 3. Looks like part 2 is the closest to being completed.
My uncle had knee surgery this morning, so I've been helping him do things all week taking away my reading time when I wasn't at work. The hope is to finish the Mara Dyer book tonight and hopefully finish Alice in Zombieland or the Land of Stories tomorrow. And then read the other other one during the weekend.

Well not completely, I just needed to read a book that had the word beautiful in it for another challenge :-)
Oh I see. Now it's like a puzzle for you to fit your books into both challenges ;)
I looked at part 2, I could do car on the cover with Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe, maybe it goes for Part 1 and bullying if that is needed. I might do Horror and read Carrie or something and also Peter Pan for future/past. I started I Am the Messenger, but I don't think it fits anywhere, but if it does, let me know.
@MarkusYou can use I am Messenger for I in Jumanji :)
@BeritI think you should take The Unidentified Redhead out of your 800 pages description for "U" in Jumanji and then use the uncategorised book you submitted for your 800 pages :)

Christina, let's wait until Monday to move everything around that needs to be moved around, if we need to move things around, that way I don't need to keep asking Sarah, because I think I'm going to have to move a few more things around ;-)Marcus, if you can read all those that would be fantastic! I don't think I'll finish Cider House Rules. Will I be able to submit the pages I have read for page count? I know I won't get a point for a description.
I think so, people got points for pages and books they started in May, but finished in June, so that would kind of be the same thing, yes?Guys, we are so close, it's killing me, do you realize Jackie, Marcus, and myself have come in second place like three times ;-)
I think there needs to be some kind of consistency award, I've pretty much read about the same exact amount every single month, with the same exact results, LOL! Maybe I'm cursed :-)
Sorry I haven't been posting or reading as much as I would like but we're trying to get things sorted as our suitcases didn't make it with us. The sights are keeping us busy and the time change is hard to get used to.
Don't worry about it! I honestly think I'm bad luck, ;-) look the only time Christina didn't when is when she's on my team :-)Okay I'm going to try, keyword being try, to complete all descriptions, any suggestions for a good book preferably a romance short-ish with an animal on the cover?
This is only for my own personal satisfaction, there is absolutely no way I can win this, although I think we as a team have a definite chance!
Okay guys I just figure this out we have read more books, and more pages, and technically would be in the lead but we have read too many books this year, if that makes sense?I'm not even quite sure if we can catch up, because they are like 90 points ahead of us, I'm really confused, TBH
I really don't think there is a good way to do this but it definitely is better for the people that read less and then increase their reading speed during the challenges, unfortunately I read the same amount almost every month, sigh!g
I don't know, no points has been adjusted for any other challenges even though people were missing. You just have to deal with it even though people are missing or read slower as it creates unnecessary work for Sarah who already does so much. I am just mad as people on other teams are complaining about the adjustment and can't be happy with any solution.

Also, teams were originally planned based on keeping teams even, and when Markus replaced Kysa, you guys got a huge boost. Kysa had read 1 book this year, whilst markus had read 100.
There is absolutely not a good way to do this, we just happened to be the team that is getting injured by it, because the amount of points they got adjusted to their score is more than two team members together have produced and yes we did get a tremendous boost with Marcus, and everyone on that team is really reading quite a bit. It is what it is!
Sarah, what is the equivalent of 90 points and books and pages terms, just curious, what we are up against :-)
