Sari | 5 comments I read this book at least a decade ago. I believe it was written in the 1960s or 1970s. This novel was not well written or great literature at all, but I found the premise fascinating. The story follows a soul as it simultaneously lives out numerous lives in different centuries. When the person dreams, the soul fragments from the various lives meet up on the astral plane to confer. I think there was one life in cave man times, one during the medieval era, one in the modern era, one in the future, etc.

Michele | 2488 comments I hope somebody solves this one, it sounds intriguing. Was it aimed at kids or adults? Do you recall anything about the cover? Any details of any of the lives led by the soul fragments? Did you get it from the library or a bookstore? At the time you read it, do you recall if it was a new book or an older one?

Sari | 5 comments Hi Michele- I actually borrowed the book from a friend. I asked her for the title several years ago but she had no memory of the book at all. I asked if she could look for it but all her things were boxed up for a move. I should really see if she ever found it again. She lives out of the area now, but I can message her on FB. Anyway, I don't recall many specific details from the book. I think one of the plot lines involved Di Vinci being inspired through these dream/astral plane conversations with one of his future self soul fragments. My one and only personal experience with astral projection happened one night during the time I was reading this book. I wrote about it in my journal, but neglected to note the title.

Sari | 5 comments I believe it was aimed at an adult audience. It read rather like pulp fiction-not particularly fine writing craftsmanship. I don't recall the cover art. The copyright date was sometime in the 1960s I believe. I'm pretty sure it was out of print when I read it.

Sari | 5 comments I asked my friend to see if she could locate the book in her collection today and she found it! It was one of the books in the Oversoul Seven trilogy. Written by Jane Roberts in the 1970s

So this is now solved.
