Am I the only one who thought that this book was kinda like Perks of Being a Wallflower?? I mean, okay. Both new high school students, both make two new friends that lead to more new friends, both had a person that they look up to that died, both are kinda emotionally unstable, both write letters to people that helps them cope with high school. Did anyone else find this out or is it just me?

No, they are very similar. Especially because Stephen Chbosky, the author of Perks of Being a Wallflower, was Ava Dellaira's, author of this book, mentor. So, they were very similar. Another similarity was a lgbt relationship.
I didn't know that about the authors.. and I didn't catch that there were lgbt relationships, especially since one of the partners didn't want to get caught (Hannah and whatever his name was)
