"Well, that makes one person!" Esme said with a grin.

North nodded. Maybe all of this wouldn't be so bad. "And you, too," she said, smiling. "I'm so glad I got a nice roommate."

[Alyssa]

"I'm glad I got you for a roommate as well."

[Merenwen]

Lucas made his way back to his dorm, much more calmly than he'd left it. A bit of anger still burned in his chest, but it left by the time he flopped onto his bed.
He fingered the statue and flicked it into an open drawer. It landed on a pile of mostly unfolded clothes.
He sighed and flipped onto his side. Maybe he would get some sleep.
After a minute, he was snoring softly.

North stood up. "Well, I guess we should go ahead and go inside."

[Alyssa]

"We probably should." Esme got up and went inside with North.
