i confess I'm currently puzzled about Phoebe. There's obviously a reason that she was introduced and, more important, developed beyond being the person who will deliver the goods to Marcus. Lots of possibilities.

Phoebe is somewhat confusing. I am still doubtful that she is indeed an ordinary human. Seems to me she may be a deamon. I don't know about all that. I will say that this plot line does seem very interesting and sweet
