Clockwork Prince question

I hadn't thought of the evil twist and I'm a huge proponent of the "Turns into Brother Zachariah" idea, but one thing is certain: he is dying.

If Jem does turn evil, though, this will be sad. I really do think he's an okay guy and im glad Tessa gave him a chance, but sometimes, people are just that good. Idk..

Both Triangles had parabatai that loved the exact same chick, one was obviously the good guy and one was the bad boy, it seemed one had the girl but the other guy won out...once you think about it this is a scary possibility O.O

Hopefully it doesn't happen though, we barley survived Nate's betrayal not Jem too!!

I just hope Tessa does end up with Will. Imagine if Cassandra Clare ended up being unpredictable and hooked him up with another girl! :(

You have a point - if Tessa leaves him for Will, that might really twist him the wrong way. I absolutely want Tessa and Will to be together, and it would definitely make the story even more "interesting" if Jem turned evil, but I don't really see it coming. Jem's just too nice.

Although...

Maybe his niceness is what turns him evil! Maybe he gets sick of giving people what they want - so he turns on them.

your not the only one I've had the same thought. I love Jem but I love Will way more.

Jem being evil would've been the best plot twist ever!Although it would do the most injustices ever.
However Jem could've been made evil through the signs:
-his desire to marry Tessa urgently
-his super kindness
-the demon blood in him
-him looking for a cure
He seriously could have been made evil just easily.
