I'm reading Manda's new book. So far I really like it. I enjoyed Templeton's Marriage Campaign although I wasn't bowled over. Looking forward to tomorrow's releases.
I'm reading Robin Kaye's Back to You, the first book in her Bad Boys of Red Hook series. I'm ambivalent about it, but I'm less than half-way. Next is Maggie Robinson's Captain Durant's Countess.

Starting Crystal Cove by Lisa Kleypas, finishing A Most Scandalous Proposal(it's kind of bland), and then starting Lucas by DB Reynolds.
I'm about 1/2 way through Lisa Kleypas' Crystal Cove and I'm loving it. Very intense--and it feels more passionate than her last one.

I have not read her would you suggest her as a good writer?
I would definitely suggest her as a writer, Susan, but the question is where to start...She's better known for her Victorian historicals, including the Wallflowers quartet and the Hathaway family books. So you might want to start there. On the other hand in the past several years she's been writing contemporary romances. The two contemporary series are very different from one another though. The Travis books are first person and more sensual than the San Juan Island ones, which are more women's fiction/magical realism romances.
My favorites of all her books are: DREAMING OF YOU, WORTH ANY PRICE, DEVIL IN WINTER, SMOOTH TALKING STRANGER, RAINSHADOW ROAD and CRYSTAL COVE.
How's that for a lot to take in? ;)

Thank you now I have too many books to read, I will put these in my wishlist. Thank you

I was really disappointed in Lisa Kleypas ' new Crystal Cove. Jason struck me as a pretty unlike able guy, controlling in and out of bed. And I felt like we were being told they had great chemistry rather than shown it.
I really liked Lucy's book in this series and Zoe's was also good, but this didnt work for me.

I also read Winterblaze by Kristen Callihan this past week and that was a very good read.

Pleasures of a Notorious Gentleman by Lorraine Heath (odd title given the subject matter).
And I'm now listening to Letting Go of God by Julia Sweeney
Interesting how we can read the same book and have such different responses to it. Crystal Cove is my second favorite of this series after Rainshadow Road. I did think Jason was overbearing at times, but I thought the way he went against his own demanding inclinations for Justine revealed just how much he cared for her. I dunno. It just worked for me.
Hm. I felt like the final straw was when he not only took her book but didn't leave her a message--even if he could justify it by saying, I need to this so that we can be together--he should have at least left her a message (actually, he should have asked, he should have respected her no, lots of other things--but even if you don't believe that, he should have at least left her a message!)

I agree with you Manda. I loved it, but still loved Rainshadow Road more. But I have to say that I have yet to be disappointed by LK.
Just finished your 2nd book, Manda, and it was awesome!!! Can't wait to start on the next one. I read alot last week, but this week might be slower. It's Westminster Dog Show Week!
Aww,thanks,Deborah! Glad you enjoyed it!
Re: Kleypas, I generally prefer heroes like Sam in Rainshadow Road, and I know I would hate a steady diet of heroes like Jason. But this instance just worked for me. And it might have something to do with my lukewarm feelings for Dream Lake. I do agree that stealing her book without leaving a note was a jerk move.
