I'm only on chapter nine! I have four more to go. Do you think they are going to have powers? The girl has a powerful aura and there is that legend. It's gotten even more interesting that way (:Do you mind if we do like 3 chapters per day from now on? It's kind of a lot especially since I have to catch up.

I have to say I find scatty quiet interesting. I like the characters in the book. What do you think about her and the others?
I don't mind doing 3 chapters per day from now on. I read 15 chapters so far, cause I did my best to catch up a bit yesterday :) So, I'm not getting to read it for to days now so you can catch up :) I try my best not to sneak a look cause I'm quiet curious now ;) But there are still other books from the library I really want to read so that is okay :)
I really like Scatty. I see potential for the boy twin (sorry horrible at remembering names) to get embarrassed a lot by either him crushing on her or getting beat by her because they are obviously going to train together. Thanks! I've been at school all day so once I get home I should finish it off. (:

I'm caught up by now just in case you are wondering. And Sophie's the girl. I didn't expect this book feel more... old fantasy. Like the characters feel like they should be in The Hobbit or something like that. So Hekate just has to awaken their... powers and then the alchemist plus scatty is going to train them right? I wish I knew who that cat woman is. I need to learn more egyptian mythology. Things a re so going down when the bad guys figure out who the twins are. Dee already has some inkling but he just denies it.
I wonder what's going to happen with them awakening their powers. Maybe they are powerful enough to awaken them on their own?
I'm on 31 now. So I've read up to 30. I'm sure this is going to cause big trouble later on if Josh doesn't get his powers awakened. She's going to go to battle while he gets left behind. Maybe just being near her he will get some power or "awakening" rubbed off on him.
I've read all the way through to 33. I knew something was going to happen with Josh. I think he's the good one. I think the author is going to make the switch. They are going to try to use him - I knew it! I love Josh now and want him to get his powers!
34-36 I might just go and finish tomorrow because I'm freaking out here. I hope everything's well with you. I think I will have to read all of the books now. Dee is coming and I'm really excited. He might take him and their would be such conflict. I love conflict! What is that sphinx doing there? I tried to imagine her and it just doesn't work. I love the mixture of not greek mythology but egyptian mythology.

I have to say I really liked the book, I was a bit worried cause I saw quiet a few bed reviews lately, but overall I found it really enjoyable :)

Yep, that is true, I was always a bit tense of him getting nearer and understanding. But at least I was pretty sure he wouldn't get them ( if so there wouldn't be so many books anymore I guess ;)

At this point I started being concerned. He was really positive against is sister so far, but you could notice too that it would create a problem cause he will not feel connected anymore as before. I was so afraid Dee was going to try to use him and he would maybe be unhappy enough to be talked in helping him. Especially later when he started mistrusting Flamel more and more. I don't know, I have the feeling that they might both be good and bad and that it is just there choice that will show who is going to be who.
Yes, the mix of all existent mythical things is great. I really have to have a look that I can borrow the other books too I'm so curious what happens next and if Dee will be able to get one of the twins on his site.
When Dee was talking to Josh my first reflex was, how can you be so stupid to believe him, but then I was thinking, what would I do if I was in Joshes position. The thing is, Flamel just could be a big Liar too, who says that what he says is the truth and that he only wants good? What do you think? On the other hand Dee does quiet some dangerous and crazy things, so, yeah, I would probably try to hang on to my twin. Difficult difficult.
Hmm... maybe they are both good and bad. They both just might have different reactions once they become awakened. Sophie seems fine for now but it might get to her head and the same with Josh. I think Josh was just being brainwashed a little and was having jealousy issues so that's why he was acting so distant. I'm going to start the next book today.
I hope Josh gets awakened next book. He should be able to. They hinted at it. I wonder why they smell vanilla ice cream for Sophie and Oranges for Josh. I know Josh said that it's not like Sophie absolutely loved vanilla ice cream. It's weird. I'm hoping it gets clarified.

I'm so so curious what is going to happen next, but I first have to wait till the book is back in the library and that can take :( Is it any good so far?
I think he gets awakened really soon, it will take a really long time till then.
I'm really curious about the smells too. I was thinking about the same. I know that I wouldn't want the vanilla ice cream. I like the smell, but if it is really heavy it isn't really nice, so. But okay, Dee is much much worse, so it seems to has to do with personality ore something I guess.
Thanks, I try my best. It is better already, but I'm still really tired most of the time. Seems that a lot of people around here have it at the moment. I read your message this morning on the phone of my friend, but I was to tired two write a long message and I didn't just wanted to write a few sentences.
I think Flamel has his share of secrets. He did say how one could destroy and the other save the world I think to the twins. But there might be more to that we don't know about.I haven't started it actually. If you want I can wait till you get it and we can buddy read again. Your right. Vanilla extract can be a bit too powerful. What does oranges have to do with personality though? I know Flamel smells like mint. He likes tea? Flamel can't be that bad based on his smell. I wonder what Scatty's smell is. I wonder what it would be for me. Maybe a book/earthy smell. That would be nice.
You really got sick. I've never been that sick where I don't feel that bad for days. Glad you are improving (:
