Is this a good book to read?
It's an engaging book in dystopian genre which reminded me of The Giver,Hunger Games and Uglies. However,as the first book in a series,it is more terrifying!so,about being creepy, yes creepy it is,even spine-chilling!! But,at least,It is definitely worth a try!!
Don't miss it!!
This is a disturbing book that i absolutely loved and i'm upset with myself that i waited so long to read it
its a great amazing wonderful book i loved it its not scary but it makes you wonder about the future and its not a scary book it just scary to think about the future like this but i do recommend this book and i recommend Shelter a great mystery book too
This is a really neat book! I thought the concept was very fascinating and disturbing. It's been a while since I read it so I wouldn't be able to give you anything specific about it as far as plot, character development, etc., but I always remember a good book. If you're on the fence about it, I say go for it, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Go for it, definitely a great read. It's concept is totally different and unusual so it's a read unlike anything else out there.
I just finished the second book last week and it was even better than the first. You get to know the characters a lot more and the story has you reading til late at night because you need to know what happens next!
OH MY GOD READ THIS BOOK IF IT'S THE LAST THING YOU DO!!! You're instincts were right to tell you it's kind of creepy, but no more than Hunger Games. Well, okay, there's one chapter I can think of that's pretty darn creepy, but it's also one of the best. You'll know it when you get there. But seriously, I cannot think of a single way the story could have been told any better.
I wish this book was more popular! I actually think it was one of the best books i have read recently and it should be getting way more attention!

I am still currently reading Unwholly and it is a little bit less attention grabbing but i am totally still into this series! I'm hoping Unwholly does not disappoint!
I remember being shocked by the premise, but besides one exceptionally disturbing scene, late in the book, it is very good.
READ THIS BOOK. But whatever you do don't start associating the characters with real people, that is way too stressful especially when you haven't talked to them in awhile. Great story, very gripping. I read it fairly young so I don't remember a lot but it was definitely one of my favorites.
NOBODY I KNOW HAS READ IT BUT IT WAS SUCH A GOOD BOOK READ IT READ IT READ IT READ IT READ IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Five stars. In my Favorites shelf. Couldn't put it down. I've recommended it to all of my friends. A few pages in and you won't be able to put it down. It's one of those rare few that I think I'll remember forever.
I loved it too! Unwind was my pick for book club (we read mainly literary fiction and non-fiction) and everyone loved it. We had a great discussion that night.I totally know the scene you're talking about. Ugh!!! So freaking freaky!
While reading Unwind I couldn't help but make comparisons to Never Let Me Go. Never Let Me Go was way better.

I couldn't get through Never Let Me Go, but liked Unwind.
totally, its incredible...not like the common dystopian bandwagoner novels they dish out these days.
If you're thinking about reading it-read it. Don't pass this up, you'll regret it severely. I loved this book, I'm on the second one now! Neal Shusterman really knows how to master the art of suspense in his novels.
YES!It's an amazing book. The story is unique and very interesting, and I always love Shusterman's style.
I'd say it's worth it to read, even if you do have a weak stomach. You might be pretty disturbed by some of the scenes - there's some body horror type stuff - but I think that that aspect is part of the book's power.
That chapter that keeps getting mentioned was a work of art! Yes it was disturbing but so skillfully written that it haunts you well after finishing the book.
It was amazing! I made my friends read it and then we fangirled about it for months. The second is just as good. SOme of it is kind of eerie but it adds to the taste of the book.
I definitely think this book is worth reading. I, too, thought the cover was a bit creepy; especially "Unsouled" (the third book in the series)...baby heads... *cringes*
Definitely a must read. I loved it. It is a little scary because I could see the logic behind how they began the process. This series is one of my top 10 favorites. Loved Connor!
This book is amazingly written and very thought-provoking. It is creepy when you actually think of it as a reality. It's like an awesomely mysterious, somewhat violent TV series that you're addicted to but it kind of has you looking over your shoulder. I had no regrets after reading this series.
It is definitely disturbing! Especially the Last chapter about Roland. I was very very creeped out and i am a 17 year old guy! But overall, it was a very intriguing book and definitely left you wanting to read the sequel (which is also good). I do recommend it.
It is *dramatic pause* AMAZING! it offers sci-fi, contemporary, and even a little bit of romance ;) Trust me, Unwind is well worth your time! Definitely in my top 5!
Another vote for definitely. I don't read much YA but this series has a refreshing premise. First three were very enjoyable. Waiting for 4th.
This book is among the best I have ever read. That says a lot because I have read a lot of books in my short lifetime. The ideas were exceptional. The characters were to die for. I've fallen in love with every single one of them. This book could not have been better written. My opinion remains the same for the sequels. READ THIS BOOK
Yes. This book is AMAZING. It will make you think about so many things on so many levels. It is scary, but it is a great social commentary on the right to life and what it means. A must read.Unwind
It was a really good book. I was very skeptical at first but after you get to the second "part" (part2) of the book it gets waaayyyy better. This is one that i doubted but ended up loving. READ IT!
It's a really good book, so you should give it a go! The three main characters are well-developed, and has nice writing. Some of the content may seem disturbing, but the "creepy" parts aren't written with a lot of detail.

The sheer brilliance of this trilogy is outstanding and Shusterman deserves way more recognition for it.
It's the kind of book that you easily get lost in, and have to remind yourself that it's 'not real'.
Definitely a must read!
