I have on my TBR list: Krista Davis,Betty Hectman, Cleo Coyle , Annette Blair, Juliet Blackwell, Sheila Connolly, Ellery Adams, Molly MacRae ,Carola Dunn Rhys Bowen,& Laura Childs. I bought the whole series in my first 3 listed authors and the first book of each series in all the rest listed just to give them a try.I think that should keep me busily entertained well in to the Summer...Maybe even Fall!
Cleo Coyle is great, she also writes as Alice Kimberly, The Haunted Bookshop series. Also Ellery Adams writes as J.B. Stanley, The Supper Club series. I really enjoyed both of those series!
Thanks, I will check those out too. I haven't really looked into the multi pen names of my favorite authors . My TBR list is growing. ;) I guess this would be another topic thread? Have you noticed a comparison or contrast of the authors as they write under a different pseudonym?
The style is different but not so much that you wouldn't like the other series. Great idea, I will start a new thread with that question!
So many good books . . . so little time! My to-read list is already huge and constantly growing! (Alan Bradley's Flavia DeLuce has been a recent favorite female sleuth and I'm looking forward to the next book in that series. Same with Martha Grimes' "Emma Graham" series.) I recently added many #1 books of some new mystery series to give them a try including: The Haunted Bookshop Mysteries by Alice Kimberly, Library Lover's Mysteries by Jenn McKinlay, Booktown Mysteries by Lorna Barrett, Cat in the Stacks Mysteries by Miranda James, and Bibliophile Mysteries by Kate Carlisle.
Candace wrote: "The Haunted Bookshop series is one of my favorites! :)"As soon as I finish up the three books I'm reading now - The Moonstone by Wilkie Collins has been a bit slow-going, or maybe it's just me :) , I will definitely get the first book of The Haunted Bookshop series - I look forward to it! Thanks for the recommendation, Candace!
