My parents think I need help because I am always mentioning stuff about vampir..."Welcome Steph! Have you read The Historian. Edward and his ilk move over for the real thing. :) Your paranormal-romance books would fit right in to our February Toppler (read-a-thon).
Hi, I'm Kristin, I'm Helen #2's daughter, avid reader but mom and work part time, so I read in spurts! I read just about anything, just has to be good. Starting with the Alphabet Challenge, figured it was a good way to try to help figure out what to read next.Looking forward to some fun!
Kristin
Hi Kristin! We have a few mother/daughter combos in our group. It's so wonderful to share this passion with a mother or daughter. While my mother reads, it's my father I share the passion with. He and I are always chatting about books and recommending them to each other.
Welcome, Kristin! My mother is a member but she hasn't become active! Actually, I don't even think she signs on to Goodreads! I think it's wonderful that you and your mother can share a love of reading and YLTO together. I hope my mom decides to join me here one day!
Welcome Steph and Kristin! You'll find YLTO to be a very friendly and fun group. And we love recommending books, and snooping through yours for ones to steal :)
Hi all, I'm Terra. I'm a military spouse in South Carolina, mommy to 2 boys, & an RN who is lucky enough to work from home. I read any & everything & I'm always looking for something new to read. I'm currently reading 'Sharp Objects' by G. Flynn, and just finished 'Isaac's Storm' by E. Larson. I look forward to meeting new friends who share my passion for reading...& I absolutely love challenges :)
Welcome Terra! I'll be reading Sharp Objects for our upcoming Toppler. We'd love to have you join us for it. And we have challenges to keep you reading and chatting non-stop! :)
Hello! My name is Jane. I'm an avid reader and enjoy reading books from different genres. I have one daughter and our family lives in a rural area west of Washington DC. I just joined Goodreads and thought to join your group because it seems like it's a fun & challenging group of people. I also like the fact that this group is international. It's great to hear different views from all over the world.
Welcome Jane (brilliant name by the way)! Hope you have lots of fun here. We're about to start our bi-monthly "Toppler" on the weekend for a week, so if you feel like joining in you are incredibly welcome. There is a whole thread section on Topplers so have a read. They seem daunting but everyone is always happy to help.
If you would like to sit on the sidelines and watch though, that's also a good option. Grab some popcorn and enjoy! Hopefully you'll join us in some other challenges instead.
I will definitely dip my toes and do the alphabet challenge, but not sure if I am up to diving into the Toppler just yet. Thank you both for your warm welcome!
Welcome to the group Jane! We're a very diverse group always looking to have a good time :~) You'll definitely find lots of good books to add to your tbr. That's great that you're jumping right into a challenge!
Hello, My name is Sarah and I have just joined the group. Looking forward to gaining some book recommendations and taking part in some of the challenges. The Toppler event looks like great fun so I might have to have a go with that on the next one! I enjoy reading fantasy, science fiction, thriller, paranormal and crime books mainly although I have been branching out more recently. I love reading and I love my little kindle which has definitely encouraged me to read more since getting it.
Welcome to the group Sarah. The Toppler is fun (my first one) but does seem to take over your life, be warned! lolI look forward to Toppling with you on the next one :)
Welcome Sarah! I'm so glad that you have joined us and have jumped into the alphabet challenge already. :)
Welcome to the group Sarah! I'm sure you'll have fun here! Our next Toppler will be a 24 hour one in April. if you're following this one, you've seen how much fun they are.

Hi I'm Allison from california. I love reading whatever is interesting, but generally I focus on the fiction, fantasy and YA genres cuz they're always exciting :) I love reading and I love reviewing and stuff on goodreads and I'm really looking forward to everything this group has to offer!
Warm hello's to Rachel and Allison! I'm glad you found us! Jump right in with a challenge a group read or both! Let us know if you have any questions.

Hello everyone. My name is Jason and I enjoy reading all types of genres and am looking forward to being part of an active club.
Hi Jason. We are very active and chatty. Have a look around and see what appeals to you. Looking forward to you joining us in whatever way you choose!
Hi Jason! We're glad to have you join us. We have a March challenge just announced, March group reads, and a year long challenge. You're just in time to join in on some fun and great reading!
Hi All- My name is Julia and I live in Orlando,Fl with my BF of 13 years. I will try almost anything (reading wise, ha ha) but my favorite genres are contemporary romance, contemporary romantic suspense and chick-lit.
April wrote: "Hi, Julia! I'm glad to see you here. Welcome to the family!"Thanks! This sounds like a great club as it's not so structured around specific genres. It will give me a chance to challenge myself and to be more open to new genre and authors.
I'm going over some of the Discussion folders, and I have a question regarding the "Wall of Fame". I'm not sure I understand how this works, can someone please explain?
When you complete a challenge, group read, or participate in a toppler, you are awarded a badge. These badges are posted in your own personalized "Wall of Fame".
