Claire,It is possible that the ISBN was reused. It happens sometimes. So, it would be important to do some research first and see if it was used for the hardback. Only if we could confirm that the data is indeed truly incorrect would we even consider any changes.
As it is, the person who entered that data is another GoodReads Librarian. You could contact him and ask about his edition.

At the bottom of the Openlibrary page it says "Inital record created, from an amazon.com record." So I would take the data with a grain of salt.



ISBN - 0006545807/978000654804 is showing as aHardback with 208 pages.
I have the book in front of me (with the same cover), but it's paperback with 179 pages.
In these scenarios is it acceptable to change the information, or is there something additional that needs to be done in order to retain the original data?
