Claire (bookworm_29) | 2 comments I have librarian status, but I am reluctant to make too many major changes as I'm so new to doing it. However, I've noticed that the information for the following edition of Aldous Huxley's Brave New World Revisited is incorrect:

ISBN - 0006545807/978000654804 is showing as aHardback with 208 pages.

I have the book in front of me (with the same cover), but it's paperback with 179 pages.

In these scenarios is it acceptable to change the information, or is there something additional that needs to be done in order to retain the original data?

Thanks,
Claire

Monique (kadiya) | 1097 comments Claire,

It is possible that the ISBN was reused. It happens sometimes. So, it would be important to do some research first and see if it was used for the hardback. Only if we could confirm that the data is indeed truly incorrect would we even consider any changes.

As it is, the person who entered that data is another GoodReads Librarian. You could contact him and ask about his edition.

Claire (bookworm_29) | 2 comments thank you for your speedy reply - I will do a bit more research and see if I find anything.
