Goodreads Reading Challenge
I decided to up my goal to 110. I read 102 last year. ;-)
So far I'm at 14 books or 6 ahead. I have a couple of large books I want to read this year so being ahead will help when I get into the those books. :-)
I also notice I don't waste as much time on junk tv... If I'm flipping listlessly through channels, I remind myself that I could be reading. So I turn the tv off and pick up my nook!

I'm at 9 books, 1 ahead, with the majority that's been read in English class, lol.
I'm usually doing something on the computer and reading... on the computer at the same time. (I has an eReader. :3)
I'm stuck watching TV only when my mom uses the computer... -_-
Can't exactly read in the dark. >_<

Wow, awesome goals everyone!! I'm going for 75 but I'm at 13 already so 8 ahead schedule so I might have to raise the bar! But it's not helping my Alphabet Title Challenge, my last three reads have all started with P lol!

I set a goal of 200 books, I did 175 last year and had no problem so hopefully this year will be the Same. I'm already 4% ahead of schedule. :)

Well done, you might have to raise that goal!

lol I spent $20 on The Mortal Instruments, so I have to read them, but they all start with C! And I've already read 2 C's! lol

I actually have another challenge on my blog, which is 75 books over 100 pages. So I'm going for 75 books over 100 pages, 85 total. I'm currently at 10 over 100, 11 total.
Now, I should probably get off here and go read! But I'm probably going to go check on my farm... lol

Finally getting back to Star and Sun Dwellers...yay!

DeAnna wrote: "Yeah, you didn't help either! Star and Sun both start with S! ;) Then again, you have The in the title, so I guess I could count one as T. ;)"
LOL so true! Well at least my next four will all be different letters: Fire Country, Ice Country, Water & Storm Country, and Earth Dwellers lol!

EXACTLY! As long as my challenge thingee tells me I'm ON GOAL, I'm happy.

I read on my computer in the dark most of the time, although for a glasses person like me, it's a bit difficult. Luckily the writing is big enough :)
I don't have a carry around eReader tablet though, lol.

Aww that's ok, everyone has different amounts of time to read :) Nothing to be embarrassed about!

Oh yea, I have a little beef about the GR challenge master accountant...I sometimes call him HAL 9000. Seriously, what is up with the generic monotone statements.....*sitting cross-legged & eyes closed* finding my zen place now...peace, serenity, and all that good stuff...
(believe I brought up Star Wars themed statements to David a few months back)
If you don't like the dry statements from HAL 9000, what do ya guys prefer it say when your behind or ahead?

Don't kill books in the process! Dx
I think I belong to too many groups. I swear I have answered this thread already, and more than once, and then I realized I probably did in other groups! I feel sometimes like I've lost my mind with all the similar threads...
Anyhoo, my goal is 200 books this year, with 100 being new releases. Last year my goal was 120 and I did 150, so I'm sure I can do this. I'm at 64 so far, although I won't be able to keep this pace up forever!

I had to read it after seeing several of your posts about how good it was. It is not my usual genre.

My goal is 85 books this year. I currently am 5 books ahead of schedule (I've finished 11), but I seem to be in another slump and not reading too much lately. If that keeps up, I'm going to fall behind real quick!
