Who else loves Ruby?

I fell in love with Ruby's character. I thought she was amazing because she put herself first and had to learn how to become a heroine. But I saw a lot of complaints about her and I'm wondering if I'm the only one who felt this way?

In the beginning, I was afraid that Ruby was a timid, weak girl. But once I got into the book, I thought Ruby was awesome and strong and important :) Go Ruby!

I absolutely adore her display of emotions nearring the end of the book. The scene in the woods outside the camp in a brillant climax to her internal conflict of love, power and choices.
