L.J. Taylor (ljtaylorbooks) | 7 comments Just Dreams by L.J. Taylor Hi there. I'm seeking some additional candid reviews of my romantic legal thriller - "Just Dreams." I'm willing to provide complimentary copies in .mobi or E-pub format.

Love is a dirty word and passion has no place in the world of high-profile litigation.

Sparks fly when attorney Kathy Brooks agrees to represent novelist Charles Morgan, Jr. in a high-profile suit against a powerful government defense contractor. But when Charles’ hidden agenda threatens to expose the government’s dirty little secrets, what started out as the case of a lifetime could cost Kathy her heart, her career and even her life.

As the body count rises and the stakes get higher, Charles and Kathy will have to decide just how much they’re willing to sacrifice for the win. To get justice, they’ll have to put it all out on the line - including each other - and it still might not be enough.

If you are interested, please feel free to message me, and we can set up details. (I am currently a student, so if you need a response by Oct. 20th, I probably won't be able to make that one work. After that I'll be able to finish reading, though.)

M.L. Crum (April71) | 4 comments Irony of Time by M.L. Crum

Hello. I am looking for some reviews for my debut novel. It is a paranormal romance involving time travel. Please message me if you are interest. Here is a summary:

When irony falls upon Miriam… she slams head on into the face of destiny.

Miriam Duvall is followed by a shadow cast over her by irony itself. Feeling reborn and falling in love—all within blissful amnesia—this feisty woman accidentally transcends the rules of time, regaining her memory right at the precipice of the most tragic event in her past. Seizing this opportunity, she looks destiny square in the eye and declares this time around, she’s the one in charge. She proceeds to manipulate the events leading to that fatal accident before it deteriorates the family she dearly loves and hurls her down a guilt-ridden path of self-destruction again.

Her opportunity for redemption knocks in the form of a handsome but mysterious physicist named Dr. Ian Stone. Shrouded in secrets, this man’s whole existence revolves around preventing the moment evil claimed his soul, robbing him of a life worth living. He has spent centuries calculating how to harness an exorbitant amount of energy, wherein making time travel a reality. However, one variable was never factored into his equations: falling in love. His obsession fuels a deep denial, deflecting his true feelings until his heart wins out at the exact moment he loses Miriam back in time.

Their contrasting worlds cohesively collide and repel during a series of climatic events spiraling around a man harboring a dark secret as he travels back in time to fight for a second chance at love, ironically placing this exceptional woman in a position where she must choose between a past life she desperately wants or a future with the man she undeniably loves.

Her slap-the-face-of-destiny decisions could deliver her into heartbreaking sadness or possibly set her on a journey of forgiveness that will reset her soul.

I'd like to offer copies of my debut novel for reviews on Amazon and/or here on Goodreads. I can send .mobi and PDFs to any interested reviewers. Even though I'm gifting my book, please do not share it with others.

EverKnight by JL Louw
EverKnight
Many ages have passed since the Era of Darkness, the turning point of human extinction. Memory barely recalls the time of power, an age when humans wielded spectacular abilities to fight back against the beasts, but that power has slowly faded with time.

Yet humanity struggles onward. Incandents--brilliant individuals without equal--started crafting magnificent devices fueled by the dwindling arcane energies inside every human being.

Young Leo Pryde stands on the edge of the coming conflict. Joining the Rangers, soldiers in The Sovereign's service, will lead Leo beyond the walls of Sanctuary and into a deathly onslaught against forces far greater than his people. Even if he is intent on the fight. He needs to fight if he is to survive against a world that is ever changing. The old forces stir.

Celeste Hall (celestehall) | 2 comments I really hate (fear) self promotion, so I haven't marketed any of my books the way I should have. But the first in my Seduction series recently went "permafree" on Amazon, so I'm using that as motivation to post here. So far, I've given away over 4,000 copies but have only received 4 reviews. I'm hoping that posting here might help me find a few more reviews so that I can start attempting to market with BookBub (they rarely accept a book with less than 10 reviews).

This is a FREE paranormal erotic romance, for 18yr+ only please.

Ethan knows that his entire race hovers on the brink of extinction. Strict laws that have protected their species are now being challenged. Laws created to prevent demons and humans from consorting outside of the Dream. But there is something about Madison that draws him - despite the consequences.

**********

A collection of highly moving short stories that lead the reader to the very heart of the human condition. Contemporary British fiction that showcases characters and stories that will inspire you, surprise you, and make you cry.
Family feuds, urban drama, psychological horror, romance, lost children, separation, suicide, brilliantly unsettle the reader.

Delving into the depths of psychological horror, this outstanding literature brutally and acutely depicts urban drama at its most disturbing: love, loss, depression, rape and suicide. Unpredictable, diverse, and sometimes shocking these short love stories will have you returning again and again.

Short love stories that will make you despair, that will make you cry. Romance, love, loss, death, Brown's submergence into the grimy depths of family feuds, into the contemporary relationships that will all experience, are unforgettable.

C.J. Anaya (cjanaya) | 2 comments The Healer by C.J. Anaya I would like to find ten reviewers for this book. If more than ten people should be interested, I would be happy to give out more. I can offer a PDF copy if you feel it is a good fit for for you. I would appreciate cross reviews on Amazon and Goodreads.
Synopsis

A girl, a prophecy and two warring gods equals destiny!

Seventeen-year-old Hope Fairmont longs for a normal teenage life, but with a gift like hers, normal involves healing illnesses and injuries instantly. Keeping a secret like that isn’t easy, but a small town is the perfect place for her to heal those who can’t heal themselves, and an even better place for her father, James Fairmont, to hide his daughter from the rest of the world.

Life takes an unexpected turn when two handsome strangers move into town and begin unearthing other secrets concerning Hope's future and past, revealing to Hope that her gift for healing may be the fulfillment of an ancient, Japanese prophecy gone wrong.

Staying away from these mysterious newcomers would be the smart thing to do, but Victor's gentle, easy manner, and Tie's mixed signals and strange mood swings draw her hopelessly closer to revealing the secret she and her father have been so desperate to hide.

Hope's life is complicated further with visions of a previous life and the arrival of an unknown enemy sent to assassinate her before she learns what she is truly capable of.

With the support of her father, the fiery loyalty of her best friend Angie, and the child-like love of Kirby, a ten-year-old patient, Hope must fight against the forces of a relentless demon god while unwinding the tangled pieces of her past, proving to herself and those she loves that destiny isn’t determined by some cosmic reading of the stars, but by the individual choices one makes.

Come on! How hard can it be to find a replacement for the moon? Just head into space with a Moon Detector and it should be easy, surely? Well, maybe not for our heroes. They are after all dogs and prone to, well, shall we say, ‘little’ accidents. For example, knocking the spaceship off course; heading directly into the sun, being attacked by aliens… being scared to death of traveling in space…

And there’s a more!

Down on planet Earth things are going well either. Speed Bump Charlie, the wicked cat, has hatched a plot so extreme and so heinous it cannot be recorded here. If you have read the other books in this series you’ll know that he does not like dogs. They spoil his freedom by chasing him up trees; they get far too much attention from their owners and worse; they leave slobber in his food bowl. This time Speed Bump Charlie and his side kick, Furball, think they have the best device in the world that will rid the world of dogs forever!

Can Astro and the gang really find a replacement for the moon? Can Speed Bump Charlie use his ingenious device to lure every dog in the world to their doom? And can, Alfie really ‘blow’ the spaceship back on course?

Thank you!
